Psychologists Think That ADHD And ADD Sufferers Might Actually Be “Indigo Children”

adhd add Sufferers Might Be Indigo Children

According to American psychologist, children suffering from ADHD and ADD might be indigo children in disguise. Intriguing, isn’t it?

A great number of medical professionals have dismissed the traditional ADHD diagnoses associated with long – term social and behavioral health problems and took side with the parents who said that their children have supernatural powers.

Vice.com reports:

VICE’s Gavin Haynes went to New York to meet Indigo Children born in the 1990s to understand more about them, how they feel, and about their perceived psychic gifts.

On this journey for answers, Haynes gets his aura read, undergoes a holistic dentistry examination by a mother and daughter Indigo pair, and meets the rap duo “The Underachievers” that preach Indigoism as a way of life.

The Behavior Of Indigo Children

  • They are born knowing they are unique and deserve to be valued.
  • They understand that they are here for a reason and expect you to understand that too.
  • They are aware of their worth.
  • They don’t settle for absolute authority or having no choices. The educational or hierarchical systems are good examples of that.
  • Indigo children can’t follow the same rules we did as children. They are rebellious.
  • They believe that everything should be given creative thought and don’t fit into strict systems.
  • Usually are quiet because they feel misunderstood and lost unless they are with other indigos.
  • Trying to scare these children with old control methods like – “Wait till your father gets home” has no effect on them.
  • It’s important their personal needs be fulfilled.

Sorry but this article is a walloping load of laughable crap. Sorry I have ADHD and so do my children, and even though we are creative and charming, psychic we are not. Too much buzz in our brains. As far as the other stuff, doesn’t fit every person with ADHD nor make you indigo or something. Ha ha ha! True psychologists and phychiatrists and medical professionals are not saying this.

Let me tell you something, you must not have ADD or ADHA, and let me tell you why, I am 44 years old and I have two autistic kids, I have had ADHD my whole life, I walk by light poles and they turn off and on, which would be called a liner, I feel death, even my parents, and even the crows come and let me know when somebody dies, so maybe you’ve been
dis-diagnosed, but don’t make fun of the energy that us younger and older indigo children feel, sorry for your luck.

I think adhd is undiagnosed hypo/hyperthyroidism. THe medical profession leave lots of people undiagnosed and/or do not treat them properly leaving them suffering. I never realised I was hypothyroid until I was in my 40s but I know that is why I struggled so much at school and in adult life. The lovely private Dr I went to see once tested the thyroids of women in prison and they nearly all had thyroid problems, it is also linked to so many things like fibromyalgia, dementia, infertility, depression, mental illness, heart problems etc. Sadly so many people are treated for the symptom and not the cause because Drs are dictated to by the pharmaceutical companies. Also any Dr who does help is at the risk of being struck off as they have to go outside the medical guidelines. It is so wrong.

Nope. My thyroid’s fine. It’s my brain that has the issue. My kids’ thyroids are fine too. It’s the brain.

how about we just accept everyone is different in some ways but we all want the same things in life and stop diagnosing everyone so doctors can make money… jesus.

Why say…these Kids suffer from these conditions…when they are man-made conditions to put these smallies into a box…simply because their behaviour appears unknown…and somewhat scary – unmanageable…yeah, Trouble! It sickens me to label our small people like this – it is simply disrespectful! No wonder that our world is so fucked up! It lacks respect for the diversity of the otherness!

Che-Lee Anderson Dylan-Young yup…conformity…press them smallies into this or that box…’that suit a prescribed system’ – to make Life easier…oh yeah, and pump them up with drugs…so they loose their empathy…their beauty and uniqueness…so glad that my mum was to unaware what was going on with me…that I got away 🙂

Yes the inventor of ADHD admitted on his death bed that it is a fictitious disease. It’s a way to get smart kids dumbed down on drugs.

I would like some names to research of these psychologists who recognise Indigo children. As for the video, it highlights the idea of ‘indigo children’ is simply a load of tosh bought into by people desperate to think they are super special or that their children are.

Took them long enough… anyone who is aware of this aspect of children born from the 80’s on… already has this figured out….. and should be considering autism as not a disease….but as a different kind of perception….

Carole V Anderson much more polite than my response… I was told to have my son ‘assessed’ and I laughed in their face… I got to meet many… and they are just wonderful… very blessed… I wouldn’t advise bringing ten of them at once camping though – it was a little tricky. 😀
