In 1921 Swiss psychologist named Hermann Rorschach created the inkblot test also known as a projective psychological test. And is often used for personality assessment of an individual and to assess emotional functioning. This is also the second most used forensic test after the MMPI-2.
Rorschach developed this inkblot approach after intense research and studying more than 400 subjects, including over 300 mental patients and 100 control subjects. In his book, “Psychodiagnostik” presented ten inkblots that according to him has high diagnostic value.
