WHAT IS DEPRESSION

Depression is the leading cause of disability in the world; in the United States, close to ten percent of adults struggle with the disease. But because itโ€™s a mental illness, it can be a lot harder to understand than, say, high cholesterol. Helen M. Farrell examines the symptoms and treatments of depression, and gives some tips for how you might help a friend who is suffering.

Depression can make the healthiest person the sickest person in the world.. Drugs is only a temporary fix to what could be a long-term problem. I personally believe in fighting it with sunshine and plenty of vitamin D and make yourself do things you really don't want to do.. people tell you to snap out of it but you just can't do it.. Know your body and sometimes simple things can make a big difference <3 Peace
