Call Mother Earth
Every day we meet,
but today we need to speak,
On our earth, we all call home.
Every day we face,
The fearful unknown.
As my two bare feet touch down,
Onto her firm gentle ground,
With a few guided steps,
I take a seat,
And a deep breath.
With closed eyes,
I wait in peace,
A moment of silence,
She graciously greets.
Deeply embedded within our Earth,
Her force of Nature gives constant birth.
As I take a few more breathes in,
I feel her warm embrace begin.
With every out breathe I release,
Every deep breath in,
She brings in peace.
Cradled by her comforting flow,
I take in her nourishing nurturing glow.
In times like these,
Of disconnect,
We need to remember.
Never forget,
To take a moment alone,
And ask our mother to heal our woes.
Every day let’s meet,
In a place beneath our feet.
It’s our Earth, it’s our Home,
Every day faced,
is not alone.
