Every year of my life, I realize how little I knew the year before, about myself, the world, others. And it both fascinates and terrifies me, how ignorant I really am. Growing up seems to be a lifetime journey toward the death of our own ignorance.
You don’t ever have to tolerate people who treat you poorly. It doesn’t matter if it’s a friend, a family member, or a partner. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve known them for or how nice they may have been to you in the past – you’re allowed to call people out on their abusive behavior. You’re allowed to set boundaries about what you are and are not willing to tolerate. You’re allowed to vocalize how their abuse makes you feel. You’re allowed to share those feelings and experiences with other people. And if necessary, you’re allowed to leave and distance yourself.
— Daniell Koepke
“If you start living for the smallest reasons, that’s when you know you’re really living. The smell of rain after a thunderstorm, the shades of pavements when it’s autumn, the harvest season and the unspoken competition to pick the freshest tomatoes, the mediocre midnights and the color of the sunsets, the smell of bakeshops early in the morning, the frosty breeze of the fast-approaching winter, the warmth of oven when baking Christmas cookies, the thickness of paper when flipping through magazine pages, the smell of new books and new clothes and new things. When you start looking at things, really really looking, you’ll start living. Because then you’ll understand how it is to really be a human in this world full of people.”
– and that is what we consider magic
I sat with my anger long enough, until I learned its name was grief
It has been said that everlasting friends go long periods of time without speaking and never question the friendship. These friends pick up like they just spoke yesterday, regardless of how long it has been or how far away they live, and they don’t hold grudges. They understand that life is busy and love is there.
How To Tell If Somebody is Genuinely Interested In You:
If you remove all of your effort from the equation would any communication remain between you?
If not, there is nothing there and you deserve better.
– Beau Taplin
I could drive around all night with someone, listening to music, talking about life and be perfectly satisfied with my night.
my favorite feeling is when someone does something and your immediate thought is “I love you.” like it could be something small or stupid or very typical of them but they do it and your brain is just like, yeah that’s why I love that human.
You gotta train your mind to be stronger than your emotions or else you’ll lose yourself every time.
“I look at you and see the rest of my life in front of my eyes.”
‘The life in front of you is Way more important than The life behind you.’

Please be patient with me. Sometimes when I’m quiet, it’s because I need to figure myself out. It’s not because I don’t want to talk. Sometimes there are no words for my thoughts.
Sometimes your knight in shining armor turns out to be an idiot wrapped in tin foil.
I thought that if continued to be a good woman, you would eventually realize how good you had it. I believed that if I continued to be patient and understanding, eventually you’d realize your mistakes, But being a good woman only gave you someone to use. change for the better… But you being a good woman only gave you someone to use. And being patient and understanding only gave you more leeway to continue hurting me…
Please Don’t Take Any Of This The Wrong Way
“When I give, it does not come with strings. I’m not keeping track of what you owe me. When I give, I choose to do so without ulterior motives. I give because I know what it’s like to be without. To long for and be ignored; to speak and not be heard; to care for and have nothing returned. When I give it’s because I know the value in what I have in my heart. And I refuse to let the world stop me from sharing that, But when things start being taken for granted, When you no longer appreciate my sincerity, I won’t switch, I won’t get angry, and I won’t be spiteful. I’ll just get smart, and change your role in my life. Because when I give, I’m all in. But when I’m done, there’s no turning back.”
― Rob Hill
Remember this because it will happen many times in your life. When people show you who they are the first time believe them. Not the 29th. time. When a man doesn’t call you back the first time when you are mistreated the first time when someone shows you lack of integrity or dishonesty the first time, know that this will be followed many many other times, that will some point in life come back to haunt or hurt you. Live your life in truth. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. You will survive anything if you live your life from the point of view of truth.
Never discredit your gut instinct. You are not paranoid. Your body can pick up on bad vibrations. If something deep inside of you says something is not right about a person or situation, trust it.
When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control how you respond to what’s happening. That’s where your power is.
