We were drowned in the silence
Of grey atmosphere over the crowded city.
Light peeping from the interstices
Of the jammed windows.
We wear a collar of content
While we speak,
A riddle of questions as we leave.
We burn our regrets slowly in the flames by night,
Drink all the black droplets of the evening rain,
See the yesterdayโs road by the lake, all alone.
But still canโt walk all the way through;
All I am waiting for is the dust to settle upon,
And bury my love in a secret place,
A love to be remembered in time and space.
