The But’s Of Life

They say they want to help,
but they don’t understand that
I am stronger than them and
that is reason why I am
put to test and not them.
They have a solution for everything
but they are not interested
in knowing the problem.
They tell you they know better
but then why don’t they know you.
They want you to be brave
but they are the ones
putting fear in your mind.
They want you to live as
you want but then they
have a long list of do’s and don’t.
They say they trust you
but then they doubt your decisions.
They say they love you
but then they are scared of the real you.
They say a lot of good things
and somehow there’s a but
at the end of everything they say.
