So much of loss is complex. So many emotions.
So much heartache.
But some parts are simple, like when we see another hurting,
there’s no other choice but toward empathy and compassion,
to reach out our hands, grab on to theirs and lift them so we can
both stand. We know the pain. We know the heartache.
We know the isolation, so we know that this is the
kind of pain that should never be faced alone.
Maybe this is when we truly learn how this life is meant to be lived.
