I think that when enough time has passed, when you’ve survived that which you didn’t imagine you could, there’s a dignity in that. Something you can own. A pride in knowing the pain made you stronger. The pain made you fight to succeed. Someday, when I’m living my dreams, I’m going to think of all the things that broke my heart and I’m going to be thankful for them.

True. It makes you down to earth. You don’t take Life for granted anymore. You start living Your Life. It makes you even a better person ; emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Only you can fix your broken heart. And no one else!
A lovely way to look at it
Me too
But….the question I ask myself every simgle day of my life is….why is the struggle worth it? What is the point of being “strong” from overcoming obstacles? You don’t get anything but tougher problems…and then death eventually.
It’s makes you balanced : emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Not in my case..
Lol
Crysta Danielle, that’s because you probably are not willing to learn… 😉
