I am Sorry

“I am sorry…” Three words that have slipped effortlessly from my lips for far too long. But no more. I will not filter my heart or hide my not so pretty parts —choosing instead to wear the mistakes of my past with pride. For I have stumbled, fallen and strayed from the path, but I am here now and as much myself as I could ever have hoped to be. I am beautifully blemished and unashamedly real and I will no longer apologise for my existence.
