  1. For me personally. I’ve managed to cut ties completely with one person and even though they were absolutely vile to me recently I didn’t get as upset because I realise now that it’s more about them than me. I can with total peace and no regrets cut my brother out of my life. What he ever does is up to him but I’m not emotionally caught up with it all anymore.

    A bout of conversations with someone else has lead to a peaceful conclusion to a long time problem. We will never agree on somethings, although I see their view a little better. We have peace but even though they want to maintain and build on the relationship, I’m now going to keep things at a low level to continue to protect myself. Because of starting the communication I finally had my say and learnt a lot. I also understood between the lines that the other person has a lot of personal issues and projects a lot, and is very unwilling to even see what’s going on right in front of their nose. I’ve accepted who they are and therefore the relationship can never be one that I’d actually like.

    I’m finally emotionally free of a lot of problems and stress. I feel like a new me and a new beginning

  2. Communicating with the ones who hurt you is very emotional and traumatic, and takes you through it all again and more. Afterwards though the outcome can be very beneficial to your sanity, Well-being and personal peace. If you both can have your say and work together towards a better relationship then it’s great for the both of you. If you don’t wish to move forward with that person then you’ve spoken your hurt and now it’s easier to move on as things are in the open and boundaries been set. They know that you’re no push over to be used and abused

  3. An emotional Cleanse is just as important as physically Cleansing ourselves. We need to let all the old stuff out to make room for all the future feelings, thoughts, memories etc. Everyone needs to unload/cleanse/brain dump, detox, let go at some point. 🙂
