Mariana Plata is a child and adolescent clinical psychologist, mental health writer, and educator in Panama. She is also a play therapist in training for the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and a volunteer for Fundacion Relaciones Sanas, a Panamanian non-profit organization devoted to raising awareness about mental health issues.
