Duilia de Mello

Duília de Mello is a Brazilian astronomer. She is professor and the vice provost for global strategies at the Catholic University of America. She is also a research associate at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Her research is mainly on galaxies. Her field of work is Extragalactic Astronomy and she is an specialist in galaxy evolution using the Hubble Space telescope. In her spare time she enjoys fossil hunting on the beaches of Florida and writing books for kids.
