We spend so much time in planning weddings and birthdays but how many of us spend time in introspection and contemplation so that we get most of our lives instead of just getting lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday events.
Spending time in solitude makes us a master of our lives. Instead of passively responding to events occurring in our lives, we get proactive in managing our time meeting our goals.
5) Being alone increases your mental strength
Being constantly on the go doesn’t give our mind a chance to replenish and rejuvenate.
Taking some time off for quiet contemplation and being on our own, brings mental clarity and focus that increases our mental strength and helps us in solving our problems more effectively.

Spending time alone in meditation gets us to get in touch with our inner selves.
Instead of being stuck in “we vs. them” mentality, we learn to see the interconnectedness of all things and grow empathy and compassion.
7) Solitude improves concentration and productivity
Studies show that spending even ten minutes in meditation or quiet solitude on a regular basis helps to increase calmness and concentration.
Increase in calmness and concentration, in turn, increases your productivity levels.
So it is a win-win situation.
