How to be more mindful of your communications? Check to see if you are guilty of using some of these “conversation killers” or “blockers”:
“The problem with communication is the illusion that it has been accomplished.” —George Bernard Shaw
We are constantly told that communication is essential and there’s no such thing as over-communicating. We see communication as a standard price-of-entry. Almost every job description has it as a required skill. However, most of us experience at least one miscommunication every day.
What’s going on?
First, we vastly overestimate the importance of our words to the neglect of our non-verbals. As a famous quote from Stanford University goes, “You cannot not communicate.” That is, even if you are saying nothing, you are saying something. In fact, 93 per cent of communication is actually about body language, tone, and emphasis rather than the content or words being spoken.1
Be mindful of your body language and tone and whether it matches the message.
This is easier said than done. One, it requires you to be in the moment—not just mentally but physically. It also requires you to be aware of what you are truly feeling about the moment.
Sometimes your nonverbals betray you. For instance, perhaps you want to help solve a problem between two colleagues, but you are unintentionally lean towards the colleague you like or believe more.
Being mindful of your body language is especially important if you are working across a dispersed workforce with English not being people’s first language.
Individuals less comfortable with English are going to be looking for clues in your body language and tone even more.
And to add further complications to this, gestures may mean different things in different cultures. Watch for clues in the other person’s body language to see if your message is being delivered as you intended and verbally clarify your intent.
Being mindful about your non-verbal sometimes will require you explicitly communicate about why there is a disconnect between your body language and your message. For instance, you may need to say, “I am interested in what you have to say—I’m just a bit cold, so I need to cross my arms.” It may seem tedious, but the small gesture can keep rapport and conversation open.
Given that we live in a technological age of phone calls, emails, and social media, many times we don’t get to see or hear the body language or tone of the message. So let’s also talk about the remaining 7 percent (actual content) and understand what we are saying.
Recognize how you are framing your language: 11 Conversation Killers/Blockers to avoid
Being more mindful of the specific words you are using is important. This is tricky in stressful situations like tight deadlines or when mistakes have been made.
Check to see if you are guilty of using some of these “conversation killers” or “blockers”:
1. Trying to prove that you are right:
“Let me tell you what happened/the facts,” or “You are wrong.”
2. Telling the person what they “ought” or “should” do:
“You should have done it this way.”
3. Threatening the person with “or else’s” or “if you don’ts”
“Fix this now or else.”
4. Negating their own experience
“Most people don’t react like this,” or “You aren’t thinking straight.”
5. Not staying focused on the actual issue or bringing up things from the past
“This is just like the project two years ago,” or “And you also were late last week.”
6. Labeling the person rather than the behavior
“You are sloppy,” or “This shows how inconsiderate you are.”
7. Diminishing any positives with “but”
“You have so much potential, but…” or “You are an intelligent person, but…”
8. Interrogating
“Why did you do this?!”
9. Jumping to assumptions
“Clearly you have an issue with them,” or “You have a problem with any routine.”
10. Minimizing
“If you think that’s bad…” or “That’s nothing, what I had to do was…”
11. Dismissing your part in the problem/solution
“You are smart—you will figure this out,” or “Your job is to have this figured out.”
Reframe to a more open style.
Practising appropriate language in less stressful times will help develop the habit. Instead of using the conversation killers listed above, try these approaches instead:
1. Discuss your contributions to the issue
“I recognize that I didn’t ask you earlier how things were coming along.”
2. Clarify what result/goal you were expecting
“I was expecting this to have been completed yesterday.”
3. Express the consequences to the team or the level of urgency to justify any non-negotiables
“If this is delayed, we will miss our launch date.”
4. Recognize that your perspective is subjective and ask them to discuss their experience
“From my perspective, the message didn’t seem to land. What was your take?”
5. Ask for their process/story
“Can you outline the steps you took?”
6. Apologize or recognize out loud when you sidetrack or get emotional.
This helps demonstrate vulnerability and commitment to remain open
“I’m sorry, I was frustrated and brought up old issues that don’t matter to this project, please continue.”
7. Don’t soften the blow with disingenuous compliments.
If there are genuine positives, discuss those and talk about how those can be leveraged to overcome gaps
“Although the project was late, the final version was impeccable. Let’s make it a template so we can accelerate the process next time.”
8. Move from victim language to owner language
Instead of “You made me pissed off,” say “I felt frustrated when…”
9. Ask more questions and then test assumptions
“So, what I am hearing is that…”
Remember that any discussion should be given ample time; allotting too much time is better than trying to rush to resolution. It also helps prevent “emotional dumping” where you try to get everything you experienced out quickly without allowing time for each other to explore or react.
Finally, it’s important to remember that we tend to know and judge ourselves by our intentions, but we assume and judge others by their impact (our interpretation of their actions).
Thus, we need to remember that even when we have good intentions, we can have a negative impact—and just because you were negatively impacted, doesn’t mean the person had negative intentions. Be kind, give people the benefit of the doubt, and find solutions together.
IQ can be a very interesting topic to talk about, right? Some people have a really high IQ, whereas some, not so much. But how can you accurately judge who has a high IQ, and who doesn’t? Do you destroy everything on your path when you get mad? Let’s find out what kind of natural disaster are you, based on your zodiac!
Have you ever wondered why you lose your patience quite often and break into a rage of uncontrollable fury? Or why do you sometimes suddenly and unexpectedly lose it without any warning?
Well, sometimes our zodiac traits can influence us to act as destructively as natural disasters and that’s how we need to understand why someone loses their temper the way they do.
Read on to know more about how each zodiac sign is similar to one of the several natural disasters that exist in this world.
Whichever zodiac sign you might belong to, you will finally know the reason behind your outbursts!
Zodiac Natural Disasters: What Kind Of Natural Disaster Are You, Based On Your Zodiac Sign?
Here’re the 12 savage zodiac signs as natural disasters:
1. Aries (March 21 – April 19)
What kind of natural disaster are you? Volcano
Aries tend to have a lot of anger and resentment building up beneath the surface. They are hot-headed people who get annoyed by a lot of things. They hate people who are insincere, slow, or rude for no reason.
Arians try to maintain their cool, but won’t think twice before lashing out if provoked. They will completely devastate you. So before you mess with Aries, beware, because their temper is so explosive, it will end up burning and scorching everyone in its way!
Taurus usually tries to stay away from problematic and dramatic situations. However, if you try their patience, mess with them in any way, and force them to retaliate, run for your life as they will shake up the earth like a massive earthquake.
They are mostly quiet and introverted people, who stay away from chaos, so when they are pushed up against the wall, they lose it completely.
They get shaken so badly that no one can get them to calm down, other than themselves.
Generally, Geminis keep it to themselves and stay away from trouble. They will simply look the other way when something bothers them. But if you keep pestering them, they will blow you away with their rage.
Because they are so restless and uncontrollable, it becomes extremely challenging to pin them down and try to instill calmness in them. Anyone who has dealt with a Gemini knows exactly what this means!
Cancerians are emotional and nurturing beings with a lot of love to give. They’re pretty forgiving too. They don’t care about their haters and no matter how much they get hurt by their loved ones, they chose to be the bigger person.
But when they are pushed too far, their emotions come out as angry waves of tears, yelling, screaming, and emotional meltdowns, powerful enough to drown you! They get moody and difficult to deal with during such times.
Never ever try to provoke or poke a Leo, because once they lose it, they can go from 0-200 in seconds, and you will not even know what hit you!
One moment they’re this nice, warm, cheerful person, but one rude comment, a jibe, or a critical remark can trigger a deep-buried issue within their psyche and the next moment their inner lion will be tearing you to shreds.
Once triggered, their anger will spread like wildfire and destroy everything in its path.
Virgos’ immense resolve and mental strength help them to overcome any roadblock that might fall in their path, and it is their unstoppable nature that helps them gain victory in whatever they do.
So, if something comes between them and their goals, they will destroy that hurdle and move on as if nothing has happened.
They may look cool and icy on the surface, but never make the mistake of underestimating them. If you try to mess with a Virgo, they will ruin you for sure.
What kind of natural disaster are you? Tropical monsoon
Libras’ unpredictable nature makes it nearly impossible for anybody to predict what their next move will be.
They can be nice and friendly with you for a long time, but one silly text message from you will get them thinking and they might turn hostile or aloof.
They are overthinkers whose temperament change like the tropical climate when the monsoon hits. They will not resort to outbursts or fights but can block or ghost you without giving you a chance to explain yourself.
So, the next time you try to engage with Libra, stay on your toes, and be prepared for anything!
What kind of natural disaster are you? Thunderstorm
Scorpios are scary AF. Right from their icy stares to their secretive nature, you never know what they’re thinking. They’re very particular about everything and never forget a betrayal or a mistake.
It only takes a little push for them to bring out their catastrophic, mystifying, and dark side, and once they do, run for your life and never look back.
If you manage to get them angry, they will point out all your mistakes, make you cry, and ensure you get penalized for whatever you did to them.
When a Sagittarius loses it, it’s better for you to witness it from a distance. Like the Geminis, Sag people are restless and they get uncontrollable when angry.
They are not good at managing their emotions, so when triggered, they will act in a chaotic manner and their outbursts and temper tantrums will have destructive effects on everyone.
Caps are generally reserved and emotionally cold people who don’t like to express what they are feeling inside.
But if you get on their bad side and force them to bring out the meanness in them, then you better be prepared to cry a million tears of pain, because they know exactly how to dish it out to people who deserve it.
They notice everything and can be very unforgiving. They will not lose their calm but will say the most hurtful things that will hit your every nerve.
It is a well-known fact that Aquarius people usually prefer to mind their own business and don’t like to annoy anyone in any way. As long as they have their personal space, they are happy.
That is why, when they feel rage, their outbursts do not seem to be of this world. Their anger is just as unique, rare, and eccentric as they are, and that’s why they are the perfect representation of an asteroid.
Just like an asteroid is not of this world, so are they and their anger and scathing attacks!
If you know anyone who is a Pisces, you might know that they tend to bottle things up most of the time. And when everything gets too much, all that pain and anger comes out in the free flow.
When an emotional Piscean gets pushed beyond a limit, their emotional breakdowns are messy and quite destructive. They will blame you, point fingers, and make a scene, making you regret your decision to upset them.

We cannot change the past, but we can make sure to have a better future. So start your New year 2024 by learning how to let go of regrets!
Are you, like many of us, hoping to let go of regrets in the New Year?
You know the regrets I am talking about – the ones that give you a pit in your stomach when you think about them. The regrets about choices that you did or didn’t make.
Regrets can be hard to live with. Regrets make you think about the way your life could have been if only you had gone a different direction. And, unfortunately, regrets can keep us mired in the past instead of living in the now and seeing the potential of the future.
Learning how to let go of regrets is the best thing that you can do to help build the life you want.
Here are 5 ways to let go of regrets in the New Year so that you can look ahead to the potential of your life instead of being stuck in the past.
How To Let Go Of Regrets For A Happy New Year?
1. Identify them
For many of us, we have more than one regret and those regrets are rolling around in our brain, doing nothing but causing us damage.
I am a big believer in getting things out of your head and onto paper. They say that thoughts are 4x more destructive left in your head than they are when they are out in the world. Therefore, I encourage you to sit down with a pad of paper and write out your regrets. It might not be easy but it will be the first step towards letting them go.
A few of my regrets, just for example.
1. That I didn’t choose running over badminton in 8th grade.
2. That I didn’t say yes to Shawn Miele when he asked me out to lunch.
3. That I went to culinary school instead of hotel management school.
4. That we moved to Boulder instead of staying in Maine.
5. That I didn’t address my mood issues sooner.
It’s interesting, writing out that list was harder than I thought. I thought that I had tons of regrets but actually, it seems that I only have a few. That feels pretty good actually.
The thing about regrets is that we are always longing for the life we might have lived if we had chosen that road instead of the one we did. Hindsight is always 20/20 and we just know that, if we had made a different choice, our life would have been better.
But I don’t think it’s that easy. Yes, if you had chosen a different path your life might have played out differently but that doesn’t necessarily mean it would have been better.
I recently read an excellent book about regrets, The Midnight Library. In it, the protagonist Nora is given a chance to live the many lives that she would have lived if she made a different choice. And yes, some things in her many lives were better but her life definitely wasn’t perfect.
In one, she was the rock star (a past regret being that she had walked away from her band) but, in that life, her brother had died of a drug overdose.
In another, she was married to the man she had regretted walking away from but, in this life, he was an alcoholic and their marriage was a shambles. In a third, she was a geologist, a career not chosen, but she was in Antarctica when her mother died.
So yes, if we had made the choices that we regret not making, our lives might have been different but perhaps not necessarily better.
I know that while I regretted moving to Boulder because I think it was the reason my marriage fell apart, I also know that, if we hadn’t moved, my daughter wouldn’t have found the high school that changed her life and that we wouldn’t have adopted the dog who helped my son get through college.
Making that choice, I believe, changed the course of my life. While my marriage falling apart was devastating, in the end it was all good. I have a wonderful life and my kids are thriving.
So, look at your regrets and recognize that the life you think you might have led had you made that choice is not based on any truth but on a story you have created in your head.
3. Ask yourself, “why?“
For many of us, we don’t know why we made the choices that we did.
Did we do it because we were scared or because we were depressed or because others made the choice for us?
I know that for me, many of my regrets have to do with lack of self-esteem born from depression. I didn’t choose running because, in spite of being told I was excellent by the PE teacher, I didn’t believe that I could do it.
I chose culinary school instead of hotel management because my then-boyfriend thought that is what I wanted to do. I didn’t take a look at the emotional struggle I had dealt with my whole life because it just felt like too much effort.
The key part of understanding why you made the choices you did is so that, going forward, you don’t make those mistakes again. You don’t make choices that you regret making.
Because a key part of letting go of regrets is looking to the future and the potential that is there for you and reaching out and taking it.
I know that, since I have dealt with my depression, I make my own decisions and I stick to them. As a result, I very much have the life that I always wanted to have. That life started at 50 years old but I have a lot of years left so it’s ok.
Speaking of where I am in my life, I know that now my regrets are fewer than they were in the past. I believe that it’s because I am happy.
Back in the days when I wasn’t living the life I wanted, when I was a stay at home mom with no identity of my own, in an unhappy marriage, struggling with depression and lack of follow-through, I spent a lot more time focused on my regrets.
If only I had made a different choice, my life would have been so much better.
Now, because I am happy, I can look at those regrets and recognize that the choices I made got me to where I am today. Yes, I might have wished I had a degree in hotel management but I also know that being a life coach and growing my own business has been incredibly satisfying.
Take a look at your life. Are you where you want to be? Do you think that you focus on regrets because of how unhappy you are in your life? Do you constantly say ‘If I had just made that choice instead of this one my life would be better?’
I get it. I do. But what I can tell you is that, while you can’t change the past, you can change the future. Try not to think of yourself as who you could have been by focusing on the past but instead think of who you can be by seeing the potential for yourself for the future.
Because it never is too late to live the life you want. Again, I didn’t find true happiness until I turned 50 when I made the decision to move to NYC and never look back. I built a life for myself full of love and success and if I had stayed in the past, mired in my regrets, I never would have gotten there.

5. The Many Worlds Theory.
Ok, this one is kind of strange and feel free to skip past it if it’s too much for you but I just learned about something that I never knew before.
Some scientists who study quantum mechanics believe in the concept of the multiverse, specifically the Many Worlds theory, which posits that there isn’t only this life that exists but that there are a number of other universes, in each of which we are living a different life, different lives based on choices we made.
If you follow that idea, then it is possible that there is another you, or many other yous, living the life that you might have lived had you made a different choice. That somewhere out there, I had a hotel management degree or I was an Olympic runner, or that I had faced my depression early on.
Somewhere out there, I am living many different lives, lives based on the choices I made.
For some reason, this idea gives me a lot of peace. The idea that the life I could have lived had I made different choices is happening somewhere, that I am experiencing the things I have always wished I was experiencing, makes me profoundly happy. I know I will never know what that life is but I am happy that a different me is living it.
I know – this all sounds very far fetched but I wanted to share it with you in case it resonates like it does with me.
I hope that I have been helpful in showing you how to let go of regrets in the New Year.
Regrets are based on ideas in our heads of how things could be, not on any kind of truth. Spending so much time focusing on the theoretical doesn’t get us anywhere. In fact, it holds us back.
So, take some time to take stock of your regrets, push back on them so that you can take away some of their control over your life. Take stock of why you have them so that you don’t make choices the same way again and take a good hard look at where you are in your life and what you can do to change it.
And, finally, think about that other ‘you’ out there, living another life, one that isn’t perfect but that is full of human fallibility and love.
Now that you know how to let go of regrets go out there and do it!
I know you can! Till then have a great New Year 2024!
When you need to deal with mean people, you need to keep one thing in mind, and that is being smart. Getting into aggressive confrontations might seem like the easier option, but not necessarily a wise one.
Not everyone you meet in life will be on their best behavior. Whether they’re just having a bad day or are inherently grumpy, mean people are everywhere. However, you don’t need to reciprocate their rudeness.
People who work in retail and service industries know how difficult this forbearance can be. Being kind to mean people has never been easy, but it will get you much further in life than stooping down to their level.
Do you want to know how to deal with the most difficult people and customers around? You’re not alone. This guide will help you handle mean people the smart way.
Here Is How You Can Deal With Mean People In A Smart Way
Preparing for Confrontations
While coping with mean people is difficult, there are ways you can prepare for nasty confrontations so you can manage them more quickly and peacefully.
Start by taking the following steps:
1. Begin with a foundation of self-care.
To best manage, your interactions with mean people, start by taking care of yourself. If you’re in a healthy mental and emotional state, you’ll be better equipped to relate to people lacking in those areas. If you’re not prepared, they’ll walk all over you.
Look for ways to strengthen your self-esteem and self-worth. If you make self-affirmation a regular practice, the insults of an angry person will be less likely to get under your skin.
Getting good rest and exercise will likewise improve your quality of life and your mood. Work on gaining that positive outlook, and the mean people of the world won’t throw you off your game as easily.
If you can tell you’re in for a long and challenging interaction, take a deep breath. This simple action can slow your heart rate and calm you down enough to approach the situation with composure.
Breathing exercises are an effective way to reduce anxiety. You might well feel anxious when interacting with someone who is being unkind or irrational, so use this technique to keep your cool.
Empathy is the ability to put yourself in another’s shoes to try to understand how they feel. Unfortunately, rare in today’s world, empathy is a powerful attribute and critical to defusing tense situations.
Oftentimes, mean people may be reacting to outside situations that you have no knowledge of. While such people certainly aren’t fun to deal with, they could be facing their own problems that outweigh the present situation.
Acknowledge their frustration and ask what you can do to help. When you approach people with empathy, you will reduce their hostility. You might even get to the root of what’s really bothering them.
4. Practice problem-solving.
While some people are mean just for the fun of it, more often than not, they’re simply expressing their frustration about a certain problem. Providing the solution is the quickest way to turn off the meanness.
Flex your problem-solving muscles, and you’ll be well-equipped to cope with the difficult people you encounter. Consider the problems that arise in your workplace and how you’d go about resolving them. Speed and accuracy in providing solutions will turn a mean person into a grateful one.
5. Actively engage with mean people.
This tip may sound counterintuitive. There are plenty of scenarios in which you’ll want to avoid mean people, such as obvious bullies, if possible.[1]
I’m not suggesting you go out of your way to find mean people to converse with. However, don’t shy away from situations where you can learn and grow from your interactions with less-than-pleasant individuals.
Avoiding all of the difficult customers won’t help you improve your communication, problem-solving, or customer service skills. The more experience you have with your fellow human beings, the better you can respond to tough situations.
6. Don’t be the mean person.
Are you the mean person mentioned in these hypothetical scenarios? It’s possible—in fact, an entire internet community has sprung up to ask this very question.[2]
There are times when you might be the mean person without realizing it. When you’re in the middle of a contentious conversation, it can be hard to pause for self-examination. But that’s exactly what you need to do.
Did you give a snarky response? Roll your eyes? If so, apologize. It will de-escalate the situation and help you regain a problem-solving perspective.
Mean people don’t mix well—their anger will bounce off of each other until it is out of control. When you stop being the mean person yourself, you’ll be able to deal with difficult people in a smarter way.
Preparation is half the battle. The second half is managing the confrontation itself. No matter how well you’ve prepped for tense moments, you need to be able to conduct yourself with poise and professionalism when they arrive.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Start off on the right foot.
The first few seconds of interaction really set the tone for the encounter. Be as warm and open as possible when interacting with mean people. Triggering them even further will do you no good.
Starting off on the right foot takes patience and self-discipline. That’s why preparing yourself for these confrontations is so important. If you can’t keep a level head, you’ll only make a bad situation worse.
2. Pay attention to your body language.
Body language can say just as much as your words, if not more. Mean people can feed off of negative body language, such as slumped shoulders or folded arms. It shows them that they have power in the situation and encourages them to keep at it.
When dealing with rude customers or mean people in general, think about what your body language is telling them. Make eye contact, stand up straight, and maintain an appropriate physical distance. Projecting friendly confidence will make a huge difference in the interaction.
3. Follow the golden rule.
Empathy is an internal attribute. The Golden Rule—“do unto others as you would have them do to you”—is what puts empathy into action.[3]
Following this ethical principle will help you take the best course of action in all confrontations. The Golden Rule guides you to act fairly at all times in the hope that the recipient of your good-natured behavior will reciprocate.
Responding to meanness with the nastiness of your own will only escalate the situation. You can’t put out a fire with gasoline.
When someone confronts you, respond with kindness, even when every fiber of your being wants to retaliate. The calmer you act, the more easily you can defuse the situation and put it behind you both.
5. Practice listening.
Listening is a nearly lost art. Too many people interrupt each other or simply wait for their turn to start talking. Genuinely listening to the person you’re communicating with requires so much more than that.
Listen intently to what mean people have to say. Reflect on their words before formulating a response. Taking the time to listen and respond thoughtfully will provide better results than just saying the first thing that pops into your head.
In the heat of the moment, people will pounce on every word you say. They’ll look for ways to twist your words and use them against you. If you speak calmly and accurately, there will be nothing for angry people to use as ammunition.
Practice speaking clearly in every situation. Whether it’s explaining a company policy or pleading your case to a friend who feels wronged, speaking plainly will prevent a bad situation from getting any worse. It might even calm someone down who’s feeling angry or upset.
7. Get someone else involved.
The buddy system does wonders for unpleasant situations. It’s always nice to have someone on hand to help you say and do the right things and defend you when people start getting nasty.
Whether it’s a manager, a friend, or a trusted colleague, having someone else by your side will make mean people think twice about their grievances. The point isn’t to intimidate them but to encourage them to think more rationally by showing them another person’s point of view. When they no longer see you personally as the source of their problem, they will likely calm down.
Final Thoughts
In a perfect world, there would be no mean people. Until that blessed day arrives, though, you’ll have to learn how to handle those lovely individuals in a smart way. Start preparing today to deal wisely with mean people who cross your path, and you’ll leave both sides better off.
You will come across more mean people than kind people in life, but getting into fights with them every time is not going to do any good for you. Instead, learn to handle them smartly, and see how even the most complicated and disturbing situations change for the better.
Do you know what you hate says a lot about you? Each zodiac sign hates something and knowing what that is, helps you to crack them wide open!
Things we can’t stand AT ALL!! Not just it, but even the thought of it! We all do have our triggers, and some things just instantly fill us up with despise.
Not to argue this is cool, but yeah- we are unique in our own ways and there are certain things that are off-putting for us.
Although the things we dislike have something to do with our upbringing or personal life events, astrology categorizes our life courses and personalities quite well, including our likes and dislikes.
And if you look at it this way, the things each zodiac sign hates can give an insider’s view into any person’s life. So, what do you dislike the most, based on your zodiac sign?
Zodiac Hate List: What Each Zodiac Sign Hates Most
Let’s take a look-see into what each zodiac sign hates most!
1. Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Your zodiac sign hates tardiness, insincerity, & miscommunication
Aries natives are always fast, accurate, and on time, but stubborn hearts. Thus they hate people who are late or slow as well as buses and planes that are running off their neat schedule.
If you want to keep them as your friend or win their hearts, you need to be respectful, straightforward and get to the point. It’s more likely that Aries will put you in the bad books if you don’t return their phone calls.
Aries also hate being misunderstood and will leave no stone unturned to make things right even if it takes too long.
2. Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Your zodiac sign hates sudden changes, messy people, bad food, & public speaking
Tauruses typically have their own particular way they want things to be done! They love planning, be it personal or professional work, and leave nothing to chance.
Unlike Aries, they prefer to take their time and have things done properly, as patience is one of their greatest qualities.
Therefore, surprises and sudden changes are what they hate the most. These food lovers also hate bad food and messy and disorganized people. Tauruses are quite private individuals and thus they don’t overly enjoy public speaking as well.
3. Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Your zodiac sign hates boredom, pessimism, & people who aren’t active & fun
These friendly and bubbly creatures love to party and if the party is not going their way, they can get bored easily. They appreciate good times and absolutely hate it when their shoes aren’t good for dancing.
For Gemini, monotony is the biggest killjoy. They hate people who are not spontaneous and adventurous.
They are optimists and this is why they don’t overly like pessimists and people without a good sense of humor.
Geminis love to do several things at the same time, so choosing one particular option is the next thing they hate most.
4. Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Your zodiac sign hates self-centered people, triggering content, & getting neglected or criticized
This is probably an article that Cancers hate to read, and that is only because they hate being criticized. They are determined about their decisions and how to go about their life. They hate people who don’t see eye to eye with them.
Due to their sentimental nature, they avoid violent movies, news, or anything triggering. Cancers also get angry with people who are selfish and self-centered. They hate to feel neglected.
If you have a Cancer staying overnight, make sure you won’t let them sleep on the couch. That is if you don’t want them to hate you.
5. Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Your zodiac sign hates stingy people & getting teased, ignored, rejected, or upstaged
Leos have fragile egos and they feel insecure when someone is better than them at something. They can’t help but hate everyone who’s better than them in any way.
Whether you are more knowledgeable, have better clothes, a better car, or are a better driver than them, Leos will hate you.
If someone provokes them, ignores them, or stops them from being the much-desired center of attention, they get extremely annoyed.
They’re very flirty and sensual people, so if you turn down their advances they will be miffed with you. Also, they hate being stingy with money as they love to enjoy life and party hard.
6. Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Your zodiac sign hates people who are clumsy, laid back, & overstep their boundaries
The Sherlock Holmes of the zodiac prefers getting things done “the right” way. Virgos are analytical and absolute detail freaks that can deduct things that most people wouldn’t.
I bet my bottom dollar that Virgos reading this article already know what I think they hate the most.
If you are not focused or motivated, it is more likely that Virgos won’t like you. If you don’t wear a watch or wear muddy boots they will treat you as a lousy person.
They hate it if someone touches or moves their staff. To make a good impression on Virgo make sure you have everything under control. Keep in mind that using inappropriate language is also a no!
Your zodiac sign hates people who’re unkind, who break rules & who try to restrict you
Always trying to keep the balance and separate good from bad, Libras hate animal cruelty and drug offenders. They simply cannot understand when someone is breaking the law or being loud or rude. They hate wars or genocide.
On the other side, they hate any kind of restrictions and people who try to smother them. They will try and keep the balance right, so whenever you ask them for a favor make sure you return the favor back.
8. Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Your zodiac sign hates to lose & be taken advantage of & dealing with people who don’t do their job well
They love to strike the right deal at the right price so they hate being overcharged. They don’t like to feel that they have been manipulated or taken advantage of. They hate liars and they dislike people who borrow things and they don’t return them.
They also hate when people keep secrets from them, although Scorpios are the most secretive people in the zodiac. They hate to lose, be it in games, arguments, business, or love. They also hate people who are insincere, lazy, and slack at their job.
Your zodiac sign hates people who are emotionally insecure, complain, & take fewer risks
Sag folks pretty much get along with everyone as they’re happy-go-lucky and carefree souls. But they have some distinct likes and preferences.
Sagittarius loves taking risks and they never complain. This is probably why they don’t appreciate people who avoid taking risks and would rather complain all the time.
They are spontaneous and hate traditionalism. They’re very self-reliant and they love their freedom. So, they can’t put up with people who are emotionally dependent, clingy, and possessive.
10. Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Your zodiac sign hates bigotry, drama, giving loans, being taken for granted, & dealing with people who fail to keep promises
Make sure you never make a promise you can’t keep – that’s what Capricorns hate the most. They can’t stand people who ask for loans and you should never take them for granted.
Capricorns also hate drama and can easily get embarrassed. They hate people who are racist, misogynist, and homophobic.
Your zodiac sign hates people who dwell in the past & who contradict or challenge you
If you are arrogant or pushy, be aware that Aquarians will hate you. They don’t like talking about the past, as they live in the present, not in the past.
These honest individuals love having loyal friends to rely on, so they hate if their loyalty is questioned. They also hate it if they are told that they are wrong. They hate people who threaten their control, so be careful when you are giving your input to their plans.
12. Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Your zodiac sign hates losing stuff & being misunderstood, discouraged, & unloved
Pisces live in their own world and they hate it when people can’t understand them. They find it frustrating when they get discouraged.
Pisces are disorganized, which is why they lose personal belongings on a regular basis. Nevertheless, it is one of the things they hate the most.
They love to give but are very particular about what they get back. So, if you don’t reciprocate their feelings or meet their expectations, they will build resentment and hate.
That’s all for the topic of What Each Zodiac Sign Hates the Most. Every zodiac sign hates something that speaks about some core beliefs and principles. So, what do you hate the most based on your zodiac sign? Let us know by commenting down below!
A Method of Control: When manipulation is not enough for narcissists to abuse and trick their victims, they turn to micromanipulations. And sadly, sometimes this works even better than the former when it comes to tricking their victims to believe what they are being brainwashed to believe.
Manipulation is one of the most reliable behaviors of a narcissist. Whether someone is a full-blown diagnosed narcissist or just displays some of the traits, manipulation is a key tactic of achieving an end goal. In some cases, manipulation is easy to identify and can be avoided or ignored; take, for example, a pushy salesperson or even politicians and CEOs. However, manipulation tends to be much more covert when coming from a personally loved and trusted individual.
With love comes vulnerability. In the right hands, our insecurities and self-doubts are safe and respected. But in the hands of a manipulative individual, our kindness and love are taken for granted and twisted into exploitation. Manipulation can be direct or covert; regardless of the style, the intention is to control and hurt.
The Psychological Harassment Information Association describes manipulation as when the abuser is using personal, private, and sensitive information to destabilize the victim (2010). The purpose behind this is ideation, or that the victim is being led to believe something false for the manipulator to gain—or re-gain—control.
Both direct and indirect manipulations are used to keep an individual close and attached. The exaggerated and dramatic tales are meant to maintain attention that may be slipping. It is important to understand that these tactics are not due to the manipulator loving you and wanting you to stay; rather, it is because your love, attention, and attachment are beginning to fray.
Think of a relationship between a narcissist and her partner as a rope. The rope used to be coated in something attractive and comforting and soothing; it was coercive enough to entrap the individual into thinking the possession was love. As the relationship lengthened, the rope got tighter and more in control of the manipulator.
But as the rope’s tension increased, the warm and deceitful covering began to wear off and the rope itself began to chafe and burn against the victim. Manipulations are used as an effort to recover the rope in its sheath and keep it from snapping, thus setting the victim free.
Narcissists cannot accept the fact that another person does not want to be with them or even goes as far as rejecting the narcissist. Remember that a key trait of narcissists is an overblown, undeserved ego, and an inner belief that people are jealous of them. To them, it is simply not possible that their partner doesn’t love them and can live happily without them.
If the narcissist loses the attention and affirmations of just one individual that was previously well-controlled, they will go to extreme lengths to regain that control through manipulation.
Some methods of manipulation are direct, brash, and used to incite empathy from the victim. These individuals will not think twice about threatening suicide or even claiming to have a plan for their suicide. The purpose of this is to awaken the caretaker trait in the abused partner and keep them close.
“My ex threatened suicide many times during our three-year relationship,” says one former victim from metro New York. “Any time I attempted to leave the relationship, or he felt I wasn’t catering to him enough or caring enough, he would go on a monologue about how he was going to die because no one cared.
“He claimed to even have a plan, and that he attempted it once, but he lived. At first, the threats worked, and I yielded and stayed. But finally, I realized it was just a ploy to keep me close. He never got help, never went to a doctor or counselor. We’ve been broken up for a year and he’s still alive.”
Suicide is a direct and scary tool used by manipulators, but its effect can be avoided when the partner recognizes it as a mere tool, not a reality, and then create boundaries. Suicide is not a threat to take lightly; but if the individual refuses help, there is not much more a friend or partner can do.
Self-respecting boundaries, such as stating, “I understand you are upset, and I will support you in getting help, but you cannot direct threats at me or make me stay with you to keep you from harming yourself” will allow the abused partner to maintain their distance and their individuality.

If direct manipulation tactics aren’t working, narcissists may turn to what’s known as micromanipulations. These are similar to indirect and covert manipulations, but micromanipulations are more geared towards sympathy and empathy of their partner and their own self-perceived victim status. Micromanipulations are intentional ways of redirecting the narrative and regaining control over the other person’s thoughts and feelings.
These brief comments are made in passing or casual conversation meant to hit heavy and unexpectedly and require the victim to go back to the manipulator for clarification. This form of psychological abuse is far more dangerous because it creates the sweetest smelling situation that the victim almost willingly walks right back into.
Dani from New England says, “My former partner would consistently send messages that supposedly weren’t meant for me, and then she would say ‘whoops, sorry, sent that to the wrong person’. Or she would send and then unsend a message and all I would see is, ‘Jane unsent a message.’ The first few times I fell for it and would ask her what she wanted or what was the problem, and it would turn into a full conversation. A friend finally told me I was giving my ex what she wanted: attention.”
One individual from the Southern United States is currently entrenched in a difficult divorce due to actions by his narcissistic ex-partner. He is finally dating other people but that doesn’t stop his ex from attempting to micromanipulate him. She buries little nuggets of heavy topics into light conversations about their children or holidays.
For example, she recently commented offhand about an upcoming doctor appointment and that she should be on time for picking up the kids if the visit didn’t turn into extra tests due to cancer or complications.
A narcissist could very easily say, “I have an appointment that may run late” instead of elaborating about cancer threats. The purposeful insertion of unexpected information—whether real or fabricated—is intended to shock the former partner, extract sympathy and support, and eventually retighten the ropes that have become slack.
The victim role can be very useful for a narcissistic manipulator that is attempting to win back an empathetic former partner.
Some victims are so entrenched in their abuser that they accept the manipulations as fact and stay in the situation. Others start listening to the little voice that questions these tales and threats. All manipulations are focused on preying on the victim’s fears, doubts, and guilt (Shortsleeve, 2018). A narcissist never wants a partner for love, support, and friendship; the purpose of every relationship is to merely fulfill one’s own wants and demands.
There is a certain strength and self-respect that comes when an individual refuses to accept the lies they are being fed and start looking for the truth. Breaking free of the manipulative ropes used by narcissists isn’t easy, but freedom is always worth the effort and pain.

Micromanipulations is the weapon that narcissists have in their arsenal, and bring it out when they see that their toxic games are probably not working on their victims, or when THEY want to seem like the victim in the situation. Now that you know how narcissists use micromanipulations to carry out their dirty tricks, be careful not to fall for them. Don’t accept their lies, and see how they unravel.
Are you trying to discover what kind of spirit you’re truly made of? Try out this sacred geometry quiz. These cosmic patterns power our lives and an interesting way of getting to know yourself better!
Sacred Geometry is an ancient and powerful knowledge, which springs from the depths of the Universe’s creation and our Collective Consciousness.
Our Sacred Geometry Test, is a lesson on what we, humans, have imprinted in our minds through ages. Thus, by ‘randomly’ choosing one answer from this Sacred Geometry Test, we will see how the primitive yet powerful forces, guide us through our destiny.
The Witches and Sacred Geometry Symbols
“Let no one ignorant of geometry enter here!”.
This was the dictum illustrated at the lintel of the entrance of Plato’s Academy in Ancient Athens. Geometry has always been an important discipline for philosophy and spiritual schools. The idea behind has been the perception of the Creator of the Universe as the Geometer thereof. This concept is indeed attested in many esoteric traditions.
While Geometry explores shapes and patterns in nature and in mathematics, sacred geometry searches for this kind of pattern in sacred places like temples or symbols. From Hinduism and Buddhism to Alchemy and Free Masonry, sacred Geometry is dominant in symbolism and rituals.
What The Sacred Geometry Patterns Reveal About Our Spirit
Like sacred places then, our individual spiritual structure may be represented by symbols of sacred geometry that indicate patterns of our soul. By selecting a pattern or symbol, we experience a certain affinity to certain rhythms and pulses of the universe. Carl Jung, the renowned psychologist, has regularly dealt with the effect of symbols on our consciousness, especially in his work “Man and his Symbols”.
In order to see what our sacred geometry has to reveal about the patterns of your own spiritual world, select a symbol from our picture below.
5 Cosmic Patterns: Sacred Geometry Quiz Reveals Your Spirit
Here we are going to see what the answers to the Sacred Geometry test can reveal. First of all, these are not random patterns. These are the astral Paths of the sacred planets, as seen from Earth. Every person who is born on this Realm sees these patterns again and again without realizing it.
This is how Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn move around our Mother Earth. Hence, these are the roots of Sacred Geometry. We’ve seen again why the Pentagram (Pentacle) is associated with beauty and harmony. Because, this is the astral Path of Planet Venus, who was associated with Goddess Aphrodite/Venus, goddess of Love and Beauty.
But now, let’s see what you did answer!
1. Path of the Magician
If you picked the 1st pattern then you’ve picked to walk the Path of Mercury, the Path of the 1st Card of any Tarot Deck. Hence, you’ve chosen to walk upon the road many mages have chosen since the beginning of Mankind.
You are extremely curious about the arcane arts. Hence, you’ve always wanted to discover the secrets of the universe and master the Craft.
Something inside you thirsts for more knowledge. This feeling grows stronger and you become wiser.
Also, this is the path of Travellers. The most versatile path. You are ‘bound’ to change and change again until you find the energy you are looking for. One of the most unique traits of your soul is that you get bored easily because in fact, what you are looking for, does not belong to this Plane.
You are bound to look forever until you meet the Soulmate or the Energy you are thirsting for. Although you are the ones who can easily adapt to even the most extreme circumstances, you are constantly looking for a reason to travel and learn more.
If you picked the second pattern then you picked to walk the path of Venus, the path of the third card of any Tarot Deck. Hence, you’ve chosen to walk upon the road that many enchanters and enchantresses have chosen since the beginning of mankind.
This is why you’re always trying to find the silver lining in every situation and establish peace and harmony wherever you go.
Moreover, your symbol, the ancient symbol of all enchanters, the Pentagram, is the symbol of the beauty and magic you radiate. The key to your Power is Love and your Heart is the Door.
This is one of the sweetest yet very challenging paths of All. It teaches us that life is not only about power and dominance, but it’s about finding balance and beauty in all of us. What may look pretty can be rotten inside and vice versa. Hence, the goal is to establish peace and beauty both inside and outside.
Our world is full of flaws but is also a wonderful place if you know where to look at. The Empress teaches us that we can change all we want, as long as we keep our hearts open to love and good vibes. We can bend, but we do not break.
3. Path of the Emperor
If you picked the third pattern then you picked to walk the path of Mars, the path of the fourth card of any tarot deck. Hence, you’ve chosen to walk upon the road that many Occultists have chosen since the beginning of Mankind. Those are the mystics who are bound to this physical Realm and need to establish their power on Earth first.
What do you need to understand is that power comes from within, and violence is always a sign of vulnerability. Hence, as the mind always prevails over matter, you can use this knowledge to assert your dominance in this World.
From a very young age, you are ‘forced’ to fight for your life, to fight for existence and survival. Through loss and pain, you’ve developed a dominant and protective personality.
Let me remind you that Mars’s metal, Iron which is believed to be the Metal we humans are mostly attuned to. Therefore, it represents all the fights and wars as well as the industrial revolution and the ‘conquering’ of the material world. This is why Fairies despise this metal.
In other words, if you have chosen this Path, remember that this Plane is just an illusion. Therefore, you need to pay more attention and nurture your soul with more ‘feminine’ energies. Loosen up and open your heart to the Greatness of the Universe.
4. Path of the Hierophant
If you picked the fourth pattern in the sacred geometry test, then you picked to walk the path of Jupiter, the path of the fifth card of any tarot deck.
Hence you’ve chosen to walk upon the road of many Sages and wise women and men have chosen since the beginning of Mankind. Those are the ones who lust for Wisdom and are not afraid to actively seek and discover the truth.
Wherever you are born to, whatever job you’ve chosen to do, you are always keen on reading and exploring the mysteries of this world, ready to shed light and share with anyone what others may want to keep for themselves.
You are ambitious, yet you also have a thirst for freedom and learning. You dream of having a vast library, where you can access through the wisdom of the Ages.
This is the Path of Sages, the Path of Adventurers, and Scholars. One who has lived to tell a story. And yes, this story is so worth telling. Thank you so much for having you here with us.
If you picked the fourth fifth button then you picked to walk the path of Saturn, the path of the ninth Court of any tarot deck. Hence you’ve chosen to walk upon the Road of the ones who have been initiated through the mysteries of life and death.
Those are the ones who try to cut off the strings which attach them to this Realm and seek the truth beyond what they can see, smell and touch.
This is not the easiest path. Probably because you’ve experienced so much pain and maybe a loss, often from a very young age. Nothing seemed to be fair.
However, all this is just an illusion of the Material Realm. You should remember that Saturn is also known as the Planet of Witches. Through patience and restrictions, a Witch finds the true purpose of Life.
Transformation occurs when you learn to let go of this sorrow and pain. Once this has been clear, the Whole World will change for you.
So, what pattern did you choose in our Sacred Geometry Test? Let us know your answer in the comments.
INFJ is one of the 16 types of personalities as dictated by Myers and Briggs, and is the rarest kind with only 2% of the global population having this. Here are signs you are an INFJ.
People of this band are referred to as “The Advocate,” exhibiting an aura of mystery and emotional intelligence which also makes the common folk misunderstand them.
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test was designed in the 1940’s by the mother-daughter duo of Isabel Myers and Katharine Briggs and is based on the theories propagated by Carl Jung, a psychoanalyst of great acclaim.
The test analyses a subject using 4 basic criteria: Extroversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs.
Perceiving, and based on the results, classifies the personality of the individual under consideration. Now the INFJs are the ones showing reticence and intuition on one hand while being emotional and judgemental on the other hand.
Having said that, INFJs are hard to spot since they are few in number and chose to stay away from the spotlight. They make the best of friends, most enthusiastic and undefeated champions once they are determined to do things which concern the greater good.
So, here are quick tips to identify if any acquaintance or maybe you yourself belong to this “pack” of rare people.
1. INFJs take an alpha- approach!
They either want everything or nothing at ll…
Being an uncanny mix of reason and sentiments, these people value quality over quantity. So if you are faking it, they will recognize it right away and walk out of the game. They just don’t have time to put up with fraudulent stuff!
2. INFJs often sulk at the corner feeling lonely and “different”!
For the reason, they expect the best from their peers. Moreover, these people are so low in number that it’s practically impossible to find someone of their type in most places. Hence, they feel left-out and alone in most situations.
3. INFJs are somewhat empathic and keen observers
So they will instantly figure you out!
Recollect the one-liner by the Game of Thrones where Tyrion Lannister says, “I drink and I know things”. That’s exactly what happens to INFJs. They are blessed with a surreal sense of intuition which they have sharpened for all their lives. So if they see you, then they know you.
4. INFJs simply ooze out warmth and comfort by just being there.
Blessed with an innate capacity to make others feel comfortable, INFJs provide the shoulder you would like to rest your head on! They will surely gain your confidence and treat you in the most humane way. Hence they tend to forgive the people they are close to because they know what might have possibly gone wrong!
5. INFJs seek the deep truth and just can’t stand small talk!
Their purpose in life is to seek the deeper meaning of all that happens in the universe! They want to talk about atoms, life, social issues, emotions and all about birds and bees! But what they can’t stand is something like “Hey there! Wassup? “
6. INFJs stick to convictions and would rather be around people who understand that, or else work alone!
They have a steady idea about the world and what they wish to see in it. So if you can’t agree with them, they would rather jump ship than try to compromise. That’s why they prefer small groups or fly solo.
7. INFJs are typically the “man for the job”!
If you want a job done at the right time and with finesse, then hand it over to an INFJ! They will meticulously plan out every detail and get you glowing results!
8. INFJs always see the big picture, and will obviously invest in the long-term!
These people belong to the ‘Oracle’ category! They can fathom the viability of an idea, a relationship or even a person. So they always weigh their options before giving it their all, and guess what they will do if they figure out it’s not good enough…..
9. INFJs focus on their “gut feeling” and get things “fixed”…
INFJs are intellectuals, readers, and thinkers! So they rarely refer to performance records or background history before diving into something. They ponder deep, choose well and successfully rescue people or situations in bad shape!
These are signs you are an INFJ.
Now Let’s Find out Whether you are the rare one or not.
