One of my favourite INFJ characters in books, and also fictional characters with INFJ personality.
Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice is an all-time favourite character for many, and I totally get why. Sheโs super smart and quick with her wit, which makes people admire her, just like they admire you when compared to her.
When she first met Mr. Darcy, she was full of hope, but overheard him saying something mean about her, which really hurt. But hereโs the impressive part: she looked past that and saw his true self, changing her opinion of him.
Whatโs even cooler is that in a time when people often married their cousins for money and estates, Elizabeth refused to settle for that. She wasnโt afraid to stand up for what she wanted, and she fought for it with determination. Thatโs what makes her such an inspiring character.
4. Atticus Finch, To Kill A Mockingbird
Best INFJ characters in books? He has to be in the list.
Atticus Finch is a true role model because he believes in the equal worth of all people, no matter how they look or their skin colour. He understands human nature deeply and fights tirelessly for a better world, even if he knows it might not happen in his lifetime.
His calm determination, even in the face of ridicule, resonates with emotionally mature, driven INFJs. Theyโll also connect with his belief that every person, whether a child or an adult, deserves understanding and respect. Again, this is one of my favourite famous INFJ characters of all time.

Sheโs like a peacemaker, always seeing both sides of a situation and striving for understanding.
But donโt let that fool youโsheโs fiercely loyal and will fight hard for her family and friends. Bonnie is the type who puts others first, even when she disagrees, like when she prioritizes Elena over saving Damon and Stefan. She can be stubborn, wanting things her way, but at heart, sheโs good and well-intentioned.
6. Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter
He is one of the most iconic fictional characters with INFJ personality, IMO. And also one of the best INFJ characters in books.
Albus Dumbledore is a wise and thoughtful mentor in the world of fiction. Heโs always careful and reflective, taking the time to ponder things deeply. This quality helps him make a well-thought-out plan to defeat Voldemort through Harry Potter.
Dumbledore is not only wise but also kind and compassionate, especially in his relationship with Harry. He takes on a mentorship role, teaching Harry what he needs to know to face Voldemort. For a while, I couldnโt quite figure out Elsaโs personality in the first Frozen movie. It seemed like her traumatic past and the need to survive kept her true self hidden. But in the second Frozen film, her INFJ traits became clearer.
As Elsaโs life settles down, she starts craving something deeper than family gatherings and village traditions. While she cares about her loved ones and her duties, sheโs always yearning for more. She wants to explore the world, understand how it works, and find answers about her own existence.

She is without a doubt, one of the most underrated INFJ characters in movies, and even one of the most underrated fictional characters with INFJ personality.

Her gentle and empathetic personality even extends to the aliens sheโs trying to communicate with. Louise often has visions of the future and strong gut feelings about what things really mean.

Now, now donโt freak out. Unhealthy and dark INFJs exist too, and this is a one of the most famous INFJ characters in movies.
Jigsaw, or John Kramer, is an INFJ, but a really unhealthy one. He has some serious issues. Heโs strangely good at figuring out what people will do and sets up traps to make sure no one can escape. He thinks heโs doing something good for the world, but heโs super self-righteous and full of himself.
Jigsaw will go to any lengths to get his way. Heโs manipulative, sneaky, and doesnโt care about othersโ feelings at all. If you do something he doesnโt like, he punishes you in really creative and cruel ways. Definitely not the kind of INFJ youโd want to be like!
10. Lorraine Warren, The Conjuring
Lorraine Warren is a unique case because she was a real person, not a fictional character. She claimed to have psychic abilities and worked with the Catholic Church as a demonologist.
In the โConjuringโ movies, Lorraineโs main goal is to help people by addressing their emotional and spiritual issues. Sheโs really good at getting people to open up and share their problems. Lorraine doesnโt just look at the surface; she digs deeper to understand whatโs really going on.
She trusts her instincts, even if thereโs no scientific proof of supernatural stuff. Sheโs gifted at reading people and connecting the dots to solve haunting mysteries.
11. Raโs al Guhl, Batman Begins
Easily one of the best dark INFJ characters in movies.
Raโs al Guhl is a villain, so letโs hope you donโt relate to him too much. Heโs obsessed with his idea of a better world, and heโll do anything, even kill innocent people, to make it happen. As a mentor, heโs pretty good at motivating and gaining peopleโs trust, but heโs got sneaky plans and hidden agendas, thanks to his introverted intuition.
His main focus is on the big picture and his understanding of human nature, which makes him the classic INFJ villain. So, while heโs good at some things, heโs definitely not someone youโd want to emulate!
12. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars
Again, this is one of the most favourite fictional characters with INFJ personality.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, an INFJ, is a character whoโs full of ideals, passion, and deep thinking. Heโs really good at understanding people and was dedicated to being a Jedi not out of duty, but because he believed it was the right thing to do. He made sacrifices and put the greater good ahead of his own personal life.
Just like most INFJs, he always looked for the best in people. Even when Darth Vader killed his mentor, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan saw a glimmer of good in him and thought there was hope. 14. The Hot Priest, Fleabag
This character has my heart, and is easily one of the best INFJ characters in TV shows. Ever.

This connection sparks with Fleabag, the main character, and they fall in love. However, The Priest grapples with his feelings, torn between love and his religious devotion.

Not many people talk about this character, but IMO, she is one of the best fictional characters with INFJ personality, and also one of the best INFJ characters in TV shows.
Sheโs caring, sensitive, and smart. Lexi has a knack for seeing past peopleโs masks and always seeks the good in them, even though she knows not everyone is good. INFJs like her often get labelled as shy or introverted, but they can be social; they just prefer deep talks over small chat.
Lexiโs play in the show was a classic INFJ move. It revealed her keen observations of her friends and their quirks, showing that sheโd been silently watching their lives. Lexi may have been underestimated, but her play was both entertaining and thought-provoking.
