The Ultimate Life Plan Coaching Guide

When someone hears the phrase “life plan,” more often than not, pop culture influences come to mind. Maybe that means a strict schedule that must be adhered to at all costs.

On the other hand, maybe others might think that means following a stereotypical bohemian style guru through a wild trip.

While technically neither is wrong, they’re still not quite right. How can that be?

Living one’s life with purpose -having a drive that brings the dream to reality -that is what life planning is.

Live with Purpose

Living life with purpose sounds overwhelming, like some cosmic catharsis resting in the shadows, waiting to be uncovered.

In actuality, however, having purpose and finding what’s most important tends to offer comfort.

Planning for the future alleviates anxiety and allows for something to look forward to.

In fact, 25% of happiness depends solely on how well stress is managed -lending credence to planning as a way to maintain.

Life Plans and Finding the Future

What is life planning? Creating a life plan starts by choosing several activities to work toward accomplishing. Most life coaches will advise sticking to the small stuff initially.

Taking time to figure out what goals are the ones someone most desires is to be expected. Sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint.

Without a deep introspective look, it becomes more and more difficult to maintain. Understanding what makes someone full of rapturous glee means looking back to see ahead.

Future Plans or Past Demands

To plan for the future, the past has to be taken into account. Acceptance of who’s really behind the wheel grants an opening to figure out what’s giving them that all too important drive towards success.

It’s okay not to know right away or to be wary of looking that deep. Some are motivated by money, others love, and many more for family. Everyone has a different plan in mind for their end goal.

Treating the brain and heart as if they were someone near and dear, what they’re trying to express might finally sink in.

When it does, and there are more solid ideas about what comes next, it’s time to bring a pen to paper and start getting them down!

Life Goals to fill the Soul

Starting small makes a huge impact. Most people try to run when they’re still learning to crawl. Doing that is the fastest way to fall on their faces.

Allowing for baby steps gives space to grow and learn. The freedom to make moves that navigate the future trying to bubble up to fruition.

For some, a smaller goal might include brushing their hair that day. And that’s okay because it’s something more than yesterday.

Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. That sentiment made no sense the first time it was uttered, but after some digging, it turns out that something is always greater than zero.

If one is lucky enough to have already worked through those hurdles, sometimes marking up things that are a bit bigger can create a huge motivational tool.

For example: If someone had a job and wanted to break into a higher level, they might consider adding some schooling or apprenticing beneath a mentor to take that next step.

Honestly, life goals are something that every individual has to uncover for themselves. Once they do, like puzzle pieces, they begin to bring the whole picture together.

Living for Yourself Leaves Worries on a Shelf

Not letting the burden of others’ wants weigh down on your shoulders is so unbelievably freeing. At first, it feels like you’re not going to be able to breathe.

And when you start saying no, and putting yourself first, things begin to change. You find yourself happier, more productive.

Living for yourself feels selfish to those who have trouble denying others before themselves. The trick is remembering that you’re essential.

Your wants, your needs, your desires – they’re all just as important as anyone else’s are expected to be. Besides, who’s better than you, huh? No one.

Treat yourself how you want to be treated by others, and the rest starts to fall in line. It helps to free up your noggin to have more time to follow your future plans.

The purpose for Living Brings on Your Best Life

Finding that purpose-driven life isn’t necessarily the easiest of tasks you’ll have, but it’s certainly worth doing.

Figuring out who you are and where you’re going is an adventure no one should pass up. When you start living to achieve self-imposed goals, the whole world seems to have a much clearer path.

Final Thoughts on Living a Purpose Driven Life

Living a purpose driven life is something anyone can do, but seldom do few ever actually give it a try. Changing the path you’re currently running through can offer a whole new perspective. It simply takes time to find out who you want to be and what you want to leave behind.
