Sheila Sim Is Going Through Burnout, Confessed Through A Recent Instagram Post.

In her cryptic Instagram post Sheila Sim made a confession and expressed, “I catch myself rolling my eyes and sighing when Layla tells me she needs to go to the bathroom for the third time during a meal.”

She added that deep down, she knows her daughter just wants to go to the bathroom and step on the pedal of the trash bin. But what choice do I have?”

The mother of two also expressed her anger when her youngest child, Skyla, cries within two hours at night. Despite the fact that she was aware that Skyla couldn’t possible be hungry again so soon, she expressed her regret over having to provide for her.

Sim dislikes that to get her daughter to accomplish anything, she has to frighten her all the time. Even now, I can’t recall the last time I slept through the night. My physical and emotional reserves are entirely spent. I feel completely exhausted.

Sim also mentioned having COVID-19 three days prior, but she emphasized that “mothers don’t get breaks, so I have to manage both kids while I was sick”.

Sim only escapes the chaos of the day at night, when she unwinds by reading old postings and conversations on WhatsApp and scrolling social media.

Sim talked about motherhood struggles through this post and stated that “I comprehend that these encounters are not particularly exceptional or extraordinary for mothers”. However, there are days when it all affects you more intensely than usual.

On certain days, it becomes much more challenging to maintain rationality, logical thinking, and awareness.
