Sleepless Nights

Sleepless nights,
Those nights where you toss and
turn in bed trying to fall asleep,
but your mind won’t allow you.
You just lay there and think.
You think about every single possible thing
that is going on in your life.
You think of your friends, your family,
your problems, your feelings, and your worries,
Or maybe you don’t and you end up just reminiscing about the past.
About the people who walked out on you, who impacted your life,
who disappeared on you, and who changed the way you are.
In those moments where you can’t fall asleep,
that’s when you do all of your thinking and
you know what? It’s scary.
