Your therapist will:
- Hold space for you.
- Tell you what to do.
- Guide you with reaching your goals.
- Teach you new skills that you can apply to your everyday life.
Your therapist won’t:
- Attempt to ‘fix’ you.
- Help you find the solutions you need.
- Judge, pressure, or shame you.
- Just sit there and listen; it’s an active process!
