This past year I finally learned that everyone doesn’t have the same heart as me. That everyone wouldn’t take the shirt off their back and give it to someone who needed it, and most would not give anything at all unless someone’s watching. So, I leave my expectations to the old year and walk into the new year, eyes wide open, and searching for my people. To the ones with the kind eyes and big hearts: I am searching for your light. I can’t wait to meet you.
