Your friends and family may think it’s harmless to stay in touch with the narcissist, but they have no idea what a “win” it is in the narcissist’s mind when the narcissist knows he or she is stealing your support system.
There is no middle ground after a relationship with narcissistic abuse. Anyone who chooses to be friends with the narcissist or ride the fence is not your friend.
