The eye of my conscience
Blind is the one
who doesn’t see
with his heart.
The moment you feel enveloped in darkness,
Close your eyes and see with your heart.
You see… a blessing in every trial
… a smile after every tear
… a rainbow after every storm
… an answer to every prayer
And suddenly everything is magical!
Seeing with our heart,
Viewing with empathy on our part.
At times though, the eyes are closed,
Blinded for a moment, we become cold.
Judging a situation as black or white,
Not the way to do it right.
To not just look but see with heart,
Not so easy, it is an art.
I have seen the most beautiful creature
I have ever laid eyes upon.
I did not see it with my eyes,
I saw it with my heart,
soul and in every fiber of my being.
I saw myself.
“The skeptical heart”:
most dangerous ailment to love!
It defeats the “love is blind” syndrome;
leading to chaos, confusion,
doubt and leaving no room
for unconditional love, hope
and consciousness!
If we all could see empathy
with an open heart.
The world wouldn’t be so blind.
The heart sees
what the mind often rejects
Look through the eyes of your heart
and everything will appear
to be beautiful.
Open the eyes of my heart.
Show me your soul.
Surface breaks apart,
But inside makes us whole.
We look with our eyes
but we see with our heart
They say love is blind,
but the heart sees exactly
what it wants to see.
Only the heart can see
what’s invisible in the eye
Heart – Eyes to the soul.
