Breathe. You’re Going To Be Okay

Author : Richard Turf

Breathe. You’re going to be okay.
Breathe and remember that you’ve been in this place before. You’ve been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared — and you survived. Breathe and know that you can survive this too. These feelings can’t break you. They’re uncomfortable and debilitating and painful, but they won’t last forever. I know it hurts. I know you feel like this is going to be the end of you, but it will pass. Maybe not immediately. Maybe not today or tomorrow or a week from now. But sometime soon, the feelings are going to fade, and when they do, you’ll look back and laugh for doubting your resilience. For being so convinced that something so fleeting would last forever. I know it feels unbearable, but you’ve been here before. You survived it then, and you can survive it now. Keep breathing, again and again. This will pass. I promise it will pass.
