Narcissists and Psychopaths Create False

Narcissists and psychopaths create false equivalencies between their harmful actions and your basic human needs and normal reactions to their bizarre, sadistic behavior.  Even if you hold them gently accountable, they will bring up something you needed and expected — like human decency and respect — and depict it as one of your character flaws.  They will also nitpick and paint your reactions to their vile behavior as the problem, rather than addressing their behavior as the core issue
