“I’ve always believed a person’s significance to you should be measured not by how long they last, or where they sit on the timeline, but how captivating and genuine your time with them was. You may not be my first or final love, but between us, you will always be my finest one.”
– Beau Taplin // S h h h h
I do not agree.
I don’t want to be a favorite. I dont want to be merely “liked”. That isn’t love.
….i think of how this would cause a child to feel, if a parent (who wasn’t present most of the time) said it to them: “You might not be my final child…but between us…you’ll aways be my favorite one”
It just, hurts.
