I don’t like to have generic conversations or gossip about people. Frankly, I just don’t care how bad you think that dress that girl wore to her wedding was or why you think someone else is weird. I do understand that not everyone is interested in discussing philosophy, religion or politics, and I am certain that there are people who also look at me and say that I do not discuss anything of significance. But the very least that I expect from people when having any sort of conversation is for them not to regurgitate what they hear without having an informed opinion or to consistently point out flaws in other people like it makes them any better. I ain’t being snobby about it, but repetition and the obsession with other people’s lives are extremely draining for my energy.
