And how odd it is to be haunted by someone that is still alive?

You wake up and realize the morning is strange, a new page in the diary of your life. The dreams shattered to be never dreamt again. You are strong, always have been. You dare to step out again in the world. Nothing has changed, the birds are still singing, the old man is still on that bench with his newspaper, the hardworking guy next door is still rushing to catch the bus, but then you feel something strange, something is missing inside of you. A gust of air passes by with a tender touch on your hair, you freeze there, standing as if you were in any other dimension, you behold yourself with that person again, hands in hand, smile on faces **peep-peep** (go die somewhere else screams the driver of garbage van). You are strong, always have been. That cute lil girl waves at you with a smile, a smile beautiful than ever before and suddenly you see standing behind the one that left, you turn blue, but swallow it in as you are strong and always have been. The phone vibrates; as usual it was time for the good morning textโ€ฆ.. the screen reads offer from the service provider, a little bit of hope and a little bit you dies again. Someone in black jacket just crossed that lane; it must be herโ€ฆ
hey! Wait!!
Yes!?
Sorry! I thought it wasโ€ฆ..

You pray to get normal again but there is no going back, this is the new normal. You learn to live hiding those fears and pain within yourself, now you look like the happiest person with always a smile on the face but how could they know about the shadow that stands behind them. That face everywhere you go, you canโ€™t even mourn for the undead and how odd it is to be haunted by someone that is still alive?
