The Irish Tourist arrested in Mallorca, was staying at a hotel located in the eastern part of the island. She allegedly left her five-year-old daughter unattended while she indulged in excessive drinking throughout the day and night.
According to the police report, the woman consumed copious amounts of beer from morning till night, even resorting to buying alcohol from a nearby supermarket after the hotel staff refused to serve her.

The young girl, left to her own devices, was cared for by other tourists staying at the same hotel, who took it upon themselves to feed her, apply sun cream, buy her pool accessories, ensure she showered, and kept her clean.
The situation came to light when concerned guests decided to alert the authorities. Consequently, the National Police of Spain took swift action and arrested the woman in her hotel room, where she was found in an obvious state of intoxication.
The child was temporarily placed in a specialist care center until her father, who had traveled from Ireland after being informed of the situation, arrived to take custody.
