In a recent appearance on the U.K. talk show Loose Women, Sharon Osbourne, the renowned music manager, and television personality, opened up about her weight loss journey, shedding light on her use of Ozempic and the challenges she faced in maintaining a healthy weight.
The discussion, held on Monday, provided a glimpse into Sharonโs experience with the FDA-approved prescription medication Ozempic, primarily used to lower blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. Sharon revealed that she began using Ozempic in 2022, and the medication, coupled with diet and exercise, led to significant weight loss.
During the Loose Women interview, Sharon expressed that while the injections were effective, she now faces the challenge of being unable to gain weight. โThe injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I canโt put anything on really,โ she shared with the hosts.
