for me to read if I come home…
and you can take that candle from the window
and I’ll move along knowing I was wrong
from A LOVE ALREADY GONE.

and it took so long for us to learn…
sometimes it’s best to just move on…
so now we just stand and watch those bridges burn
knowing we were wrong and we should’ve moved along
from A LOVE ALREADY GONE.
……
we spent all those years pretending…
love would get us through somehow…
a story-book tale that was never ending but just look at us now…
we were wrong and must move along
from A LOVE ALREADY GONE.
……
think of all those years we wasted…
just so we wouldn’t have to be alone…
remember all those bitter tears we tasted…
when we should’ve moved along when we were wrong
from ” A LOVE ALREADY GONE”.
