The waves have become mild
The wind has slowed down
Life has slackened its pace
Destiny has lost its crown.
Horizon seems merging with the sea
Vision is all blurred
Is it a state of my mind?
Or has something really occurred?
The journey seems so long
That I have forgotten my destiny
Is it that I am tired?
Or just a lack of company.
Loneliness creeps on
But it doesn’t leave behind a mark
It’s like a thief
Who creeps in at night
And leaves things in the dark
But treasures have been stolen
Belief snatched away
Emotions robbed off
Trust begun to sway..
