Popularity Does Not Equal Value.
Most people think popular things are more valuable, the stuff right in front of their face that everyone else seems to like. I guarantee people once over looked
the greatest bands of all time when they first started out playing in dive bars. I guarantee they didn’t look twice at a masterpiece until the artist died and someone else told them it was great art. I guarantee they overlooked profoundly written words on a scrap piece of paper until it was in a published in a popular book. Some of the greatest things are overlooked because they aren’t in the limelight. Value is not measured by popularity, and this includes your own.
