And you looked at me up and down and told me that I was not the same person as I was last year. And instead of feeling bad about that like I was supposed to, I smiled. Because damn right, I am not the same person I was last year. And next year, I will not be the same person I am today. Because people change, people grow; People are not concrete objects that stay the same as the cracks get deeper and more numerous. If you want to be something, you go be it. Do not let anyone hold you back, especially the person you were yesterday.
