Right now, the spotlight’s on Gen Z traits, and I must admit, as a millennial, it’s kind of nice not being under that microscope anymore.
But let’s be real, every era has its perplexing aspects, and Gen Z is no exception. A curious redditor, recently posed an intriguing question:
“Millennials, what’s puzzling to you about Gen Z?” The responses poured in, and they’re both enlightening and entertaining. It’s fascinating to see the generation gap in action and discover what leaves us scratching our heads when looking at today’s youth.

“Where are all the Gen Z celebrities? Apart from Tom Holland and Zendaya, I cannot think of a leading man or woman in Hollywood in their 20s. Ryan Gosling is playing Ken in the Barbie movie, and he’s 41.”
“Why are all the trendy sneakers so bulky?”
“One of my students said, ‘LMAO,’ in front of me yesterday and asked me if I knew what it meant. I had to tell her that those kinds of acronyms are at least 20 years old and my generation popularized them. She was shocked.”
“The way they think we don’t play video games. Do they think that video games fall out of trees? Who do they think is making them, the Fortnite fairy?”
