Adam Rich, a former child star best known for his role in the popular sitcom “Eight is Enough,” had passed away at the age of 54 due to the effects of the drug fentanyl.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy and determined his death to be accidental, attributing it to the drug abuse.

On January 7, during a welfare check at his residence in the Brentwood Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, Rich was discovered deceased. The property manager grew concerned upon noticing the keys left in the front door, prompting them to enter the home and make the unfortunate discovery.
