Clarity in thoughts as they flow.
Vision where others see a wall,
A way to rise each time you fall.
Fluency with words,
Imagination and a never-ending thirst
Books help you learn,
For more, the soul will yearn!
The barrier in front of you,
The one that is blocking your view,
Get over it through the use of books,
The more you read,
the more it hooks.
Helps you view beyond
what you normally see,
Helps you be tall in life,
as tall as you can be.
Using packed up books
In a stacked up way
I search for light’s horizon
Beyond the prudent gray
My inflamed mind
Sought to illuminate life
When a wall cocoons me forever
In the dark trenches of night.
Without the
building blocks of books
to educate & inspire us,
our vision of the future
is stonewalled.
By reading
you can explore
what is barricaded.
Once you read,
You’ll slowly see
each side of the paradox
Books help you
to look beyond
the barriers of your mind.
