Maulika Sandip Patel Rainbow of emotions.

Rather call it survival strategy or say it manipulation,
Today one needs a different ‘face’ to ‘face’ different situation…

Sometimes happiness, sometimes regret overpowers me,
When glimpses of my past I see!

Hiding behind the mask of everyday life and slowly you just fade away.

Faking yourself with a mask of emotion, yet solitude satisfies him.

Wearing the many masks can be emotionally exhausting.

Some of us wear masks to appear brave and strong,
but all we really want is to be heard and to belong.

Embracing different masks disguises the fear of being vulnerable in a world devoid of love.

Day by day the facade is killing the real me.

Life is but a ‘charade of facades’ and the irony is ‘none bothers’.

When all the masks of falsely projecting oneself fall off, one crumbles for the true identity of who he really is!

Behind every mask there is someone who needs to be loved x

Becoming multifaceted is good but becoming multifaced leaves you repenting in the end…!

Don’t chain yourself with masks of fake happiness and fake wellness; if you are not well, express yourself.

Don’t let your inner demons seize your thoughts
Harness your strength and entangle the knots!

It wears me out, wearing the masks. Longing to be myself, alas!

Pretending to be someone you are not takes a toll on the real you.
Faking is fatiguing and exhausting;
Just be simple, humble and modest and liberate yourself.

The “masks” will fall off someday; leaving you alone to “face” the day.

I used to have such a colourful personality, but now I’m dark and gray. Please colour my world.

I am not what I seem to be,
there are many others hiding in me,
some good, some evil, some purely vicious,
I am an amalgamation of DNA and family history.

We all have various personas that both protect or at times harm our true self.
Strive to be the natural you

Depression steps into life when we try to play many roles at a time.

Many faces have a troubled soul

Who should I be today? Who I am depends on you, yet shouldn’t always have to be anyone but myself.

Finally, my soul is free from the hypocrisy of masks.

Taking a break from the many masks I wear in life.

In the end, wearing so many faces wears you out!

Release the masks and bare your soul.

Breaking through the facade of cacophony in her mind!
