If only I had realized sooner
that my brains weren’t as ‘broken’
as I thought they were for
functioning differently than majorities.
I wouldn’t have spent as much time filing down
and covering my edges to fit through a circle shaped hole.
Instead, I should have tried to make my edges even sharper
and take pride in that.
