Can A Narcissist Love? This is hard to write. Because I can feel the pain on every end. I think some Narcissists think they could love. They think infatuation, the wanting of this new shiny toy is love. They get their identity from your reflection. They create this fantasy in their minds of who you are and they want that. This is what they think is love. They never go deeper. They don’t even know what it is. Their emotional growth is stunted. They really are like little children. And sadly when they break you, they look for a new toy, a new reflection. Another way to look at their own selves. When you get involved with a narcissist, you are taking on a lot. You can’t battle this demon. Don’t even try.
