As I look back in life
I realized how I was entrapped in illusions and trivia.
What a fool I’d been!
To let numbers dominate my being
Thankfully I’m now happy
in my own skin!

But by the hearts
where you have love showered
Life need not always be quantitative
But can be extremely qualitative.

height,

we measure life and beauty through
milestones visible to the naked eye.
When we should rather measure
by character and lives reached.
It’s in your hands
how you measure up
If you measure your life,
your worth, and yourself by numbers
you will always be trapped by them;
captive and never free.
The more I try to measure life,
the more entangled I become.
The only measurement that matters
is the size of your heart
