They are going to talk about you, even months and years after you left the story, as though you are there, still somehow caught up in the drama of it all. Let them. It only means their lives are empty, so they must continue to create storylines that don’t exist. You live your life, as brave and beautiful as it is, and don’t you dare look back or acknowledge the rumors swirling around from those empty hearts. You didn’t come this far to look behind you.
