The Journey Within: Navigating Ego, Enlightenment And Pain

 /

Enlightenment and pain, the dynamic duo leads you to the journey towards ego liberation. By embracing the two, you open yourself up to a world of growth, where every experience is a lesson, and every challenge is an opportunity to evolve

Ego is a tricky thing, and it will spin a web of really good feeling thoughts and emotions to trick you into a pattern. This is whatโ€™s happening in the spiritual community, very much the same patterns our world religions have undergone.

Reach for the light and forget the dark! This creates more separation and denies the totality of what the Universe is all about.

That might bring up some defence mechanisms but if it does, then it is most definitely worth exploring.

Defensive behaviour is the first indicator that ego is prevalent in your world. I invite you to dig deeper whenever this feeling shows up. Our souls are perfect. Our souls do not need defending, our souls do not feel pain, it already knows everything is in perfect alignment.

It is the mind and thought patterns that create pain because it wants to be defended. The ego does not want to be caught in its sneaky methodologies of keeping you from finding your true self.

For some reason, we have a mass consciousness belief that enlightenment or connecting to Source energy is all light, peaceful and all loving.

Thatโ€™s the illusion. The Universe encompasses everything, and that includes darkness, yet darkness is something everyone wants to avoid simply because it doesnโ€™t feel good. That alone is a judgement.

Understanding The Ego And The Path To Enlightenment And Pain

Why is everyone running from pain? From fear? From being uncomfortable?

Have we not been shown time and time again that the process of healing, birthing, and labouring includes pain?

When you have to undergo surgery, or when you cut your arm, does it not hurt? Does it not hurt for a while before it starts to feel better?

When you get the flu, does it not take time to sit in that pain and to allow it to pass through you before you feel better? Does that time in allowance bring you more presence to slow down and rest?

Why would enlightenment be any different?

When a baby is born, must we not labour, push, and deliver through tremendous pain to receive such a miracle?

Why is fear present? Itโ€™s there to be faced. Why is pain there? Itโ€™s there because overcoming such obstacles in your life expands your awareness.

The walk through darkness slows everything down. It takes you through a painful process of being aware of the details, where otherwise some important lessons would be missed.

Pain and darkness keep you present and focused. Itโ€™s showing you how to FEEL the depths of emotion so that you can become powerful in your choices.

When you make a choice from a painful space, consciously allowing the emotion to flow without running from it, you have then planted a deep authentic yet very powerful seed in the soil of your abundant foundation.

To be striving for constant peace, love and good feeling spaces, we tend to avoid the pain and the darkness. We then build up mind patterns to keep this darkness away.

Imagine floating on a cloud all day, you would be in so much bliss you would miss whatโ€™s going on below you. You would miss where creation begins.

The Universe doesnโ€™t work that way. When a star dies there is a mass explosion. When a lion kills for food, life is given and life is surrendered. Our world shows us darkness all the time but in such a beautiful way. Why would our expansion be any different?

Darkness is the womb. Its where we grow limbs, eyes, hair and nails. It is where everything begins, without darkness nobody would know their creative powers. You wouldnโ€™t even know what to create!

Our ancestors would have never moved out of the caves to build homes if they did not want to experience comfort.

What strives you to be better? It isnโ€™t light. Itโ€™s the uncomfortable energy of sitting in pain and darkness that really pushes you to do better.

You can either sit in the pain and never make the choices to move on, and remain in pain, or you can choose to manifest and move towards what you do want.

The darkness is a gift. Pain is healing. Fear is a catalyst.

Donโ€™t shut it off, accept it, face it, grow in it, feel it, purge it, cry, scream, love and surrender to it.

This is enlightenment.
