The Law Of Attraction: Are You Blessing Or Cursing Your Life?

Before I learned about theย Law of Attraction, I didnโ€™t know I had the power to bless or curse my life. Not only that, I was totally ignorant to the fact that I HAD been blessing or cursing my life all along.

To be totally honest, I didnโ€™t think anyone else (human or supernatural) had that power over me either. Today, however, I realize that we do indeed have the power to bless or curse our lives.

How?

Through the words, we speak.

The words we speak have massive creative power. If you think about it, the things you mention the MOST are the things that also simultaneouslyย happenย the most in your life. We often think that we are complaining because something negative happened, but in reality, negative things happen because of the complaints!

For instance, I used to regularly say โ€œI never win anything.โ€ And, that was my experience! Whether it was a raffle, a lottery ticket, or a trip to the casino, I always ended up with the short end of the stick.

When I changed my tune, however, things changed and changed quickly.

In fact, shifting the โ€œI never win anythingโ€ mantra provided me with the first moment I truly KNEW without a shadow of a doubt the Law of Attraction worked.

After just a few weeks of deliberately shifting my perspective, I won a $25 Starbucks raffle in some random contest online.

It may seem like a small win to you, but I screamed (yes, literally screamed at the top of my lungs mind you) in joy. My husband thought I had lost my mind. But at that moment, it was abundantly clear to me that the way I had been speaking about winning was what had created my win.

Since then? Iโ€™ve won lots of things. Too many to count! Raffles, scratch-off tickets, random customer-appreciation draws, tickets to events-you name it.

I had no idea that when I repeatedly told people โ€œI never win anythingโ€ I was cursing my life and facing myself to lose. Now, I know better.

So, are YOU blessing or cursing your life?

If you arenโ€™t sure, pay close attention to the phrases you regularly use. While regulating every last word that comes out of your mouth may be too big of a job, at a minimum you can identify the common โ€œcursesโ€ youโ€™ve been hexing yourself with.

There were a few others of mine. Perhaps you relate to some of them:

  • โ€œMy husband always leaves his crap all over the house.โ€
  • โ€œI have a hard time talking to people I donโ€™t know.โ€
  • โ€œWork before play.โ€
  • โ€œIโ€™m so stressed out.โ€
  • โ€œI hate Mondays.โ€
  • โ€œAlcohol helps me be more social.โ€
  • โ€œYou canโ€™t trust people.โ€
  • โ€œI canโ€™t afford that.โ€
  • โ€œIโ€™m so tired.โ€
  • โ€œItโ€™s just one thing after the other.โ€

If you find yourself saying a key โ€œcursingโ€ phrase repeatedly, take note! Do your best to bite your tongue. If it takes a little practice, thatโ€™s ok-but make the effort as much as you can. If possible, find an alternative โ€œblessingโ€ phrase to replace your common curse with.

For example, instead ofย โ€œI hate Mondays,โ€ย you could sayย โ€œMonday is always a fresh start!โ€

Please be mindful of the words you use. You are always in the process of either blessing or cursing your life. The phrases we repeatedly use make a massive impact on the reality we experience.
