There’s No Such Thing As Wrong Timing – Just People With Excuses

Theres No Such Thing As Wrong Timing 1

The concept of wrong timing in a relationship sparks debate. Is it a genuine problem or a convenient excuse? Let’s explore how it affects us!

I have always been someone who has faced a generation gap from her own generation. As back as I walk down the memory lane, it’s always been this way. And one of the major reasons for this is because of the way people in my time love.

Is Wrong Timing In A Relationship Real?

It is fairly a modern concept, rather excuse of “wrong time” which our generation has come up with. People don’t understand the value of love, which is why they give birth to such downright abrupt reasons for parting ways and giving up on each other.

This message is best brought out by Coldplay in one of their songs –The Scientist. And when they say ‘Nobody said it was easy; it’s such a shame for us to part’ I swear to God, it hits right in the feels.

Either it is that we don’t understand the meaning of love or that we underestimate the influence of it.

Wrong Timing

Love is giving someone the power to destroy you and trusting them not to. It has very little to do with fancy dinner dates and a lot to do with ‘How was your day?’ Love has no definite way of presentation. It is what it is and you’re going to feel it in the center of your being.

And once you feel that way, no matter how hard you try, it’s going to be impossible for you to walk away and deny its existence. You know its love when your greatest strength and your biggest weakness are both combined with that one person.

It is only the lucky ones who find love in this world, and if you are one of them, you keep it. You treasure it. But most importantly, you nurture it.

Out of everything I’m aware of, one of it is what exactly is ‘bad timing in a relationship’? Because honestly, there wasn’t a time when I felt like everything in my life was perfect.

But then again, isn’t that what life is all about?

Perhaps life happens when you least expect it. So how long are you going to wait for something which doesn’t have a fixed time? What people fail to understand is that life isn’t a fairy tale neither is it a movie.

No matter how much you believe in intuitions and luck, you cannot deny the power of actions.

When you deeply desire someone, you don’t only tell them that in words. It is your responsibility to turn those words into actions. You make them feel it.

Relationships are like trees. They don’t just grow overnight. You have to start from sowing the seeds of love and continue to take care of it even after its roots are strong.

Yes, I do believe that some people aren’t as easy as others.

Some of us out here have major trust issues but maybe that’s because of everything we’ve been through. Life is far from fair for a lot of us. Some of us go through a lot in the early ages of our lives. It’s only in human nature to be cautious of something that has caused harm before. Just know that nobody fancies being cold and alone.

I read it somewhere that “We use every bullet we’ve ever taken to heart to shoot down anyone who tries to love us again. That’s the problem with humans; we never see when the war has ended”.

You can’t blame a person for looking devilish when they’ve just returned from hell. Bob Marley once said “The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for.”

You have to love them on their bad days just as much as you do on the good days. Your love shouldn’t be dependent on situations and circumstances. Not all days are bright and beautiful.

Some days are dark, so dark that no light can creep in. On such days, you will have to hold on tightly making sure none of you’ll slip away. Just remember that when bulb fuses out, you change the bulb, not your damn house.

The time is never going to be right. Things will fall apart more than just often.

Sometimes you won’t even know why most of it is happening but they just will. There are going to be distances and fights. Life is going to be mean and time is going to be inconsistent but PLEASE, for the sake of your love, remind yourself that it’s just the two of you on that road.

There are going to be days when you will have to pull not only yourself but them too. Don’t give up saying that the time wasn’t right and regret later. I repeat; time is never going to be right. It never has.

I hope by now I have been able to give you a hint of what love is. So the next time you find a person who decides on walking away from your life and blaming it on time, please hold the door open for them and maybe do a little farewell dance too because this life is clearly too short to be with someone who isn’t going to fight all the odds for you.

Trust me when I say that Love alone can move mountains. Someone who is in love with you will start a war for you a thousand times, without a doubt.  Don’t mourn their loss when they’re gone. It’s better to be alone than to be in love with a coward. There are wrong people, rather weak people but never wrong timings in love.
