You know when you get that suggestion for a Movie or TV Show from a friend and they go on and on about how amazing it is but you just don’t have the time to watch it?

3. Dunkirk (2017)
This movie depicts the dramatic and true story of the Dunkirk evacuations from a war torn beach and harbor in France, following the seemingly doomed plight of allied soldiers in World War II. As the enemy forces close in, it seems the troops have nowhere to go, but help is at hand and a fierce battle ensues.
4. Seven Samurai (Shichinin no Samurai) (1954)
A veteran samurai, who has fallen on hard times, answers a village’s request for protection from bandits. He gathers 6 other samurai to help him, and they teach the townspeople how to defend themselves, and they supply the samurai with three small meals a day. The film culminates in a giant battle when 40 bandits attack the village.
5. Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Thirty years after the events of Blade Runner (1982), a new Blade Runner, L.A.P.D. Officer “K” , unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former L.A.P.D. Blade Runner, who has been missing for thirty years.

2. Coco (2017)
Miguel, a musical kid with a family who’s banned the thing he loves in life, takes an accidental trip to The Land of the Dead only to prove to his inspiration that he can be a good vocal singer and guitarist. However, things start to go downhill when his family in The land of the Dead start to look for him and try to take him back.
3. Spider-Man : Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Miles Morales is a New York teen struggling with school, friends and, on top of that, being the new Spider-Man. When he comes across Peter Parker, the erstwhile saviour of New York, in the multiverse, Miles must train to become the new protector of his city.
4. Pinocchio (1940)
Inventor Gepetto creates a wooden marionette called Pinocchio. His wish for Pinocchio to be a real boy is unexpectedly granted by a fairy. The fairy assigns Jiminy Cricket to act as Pinocchio’s “conscience” and keep him out of trouble. Jiminy is not too successful in this endeavor and most of the film is spent with Pinocchio deep in trouble.
5. Kubo and the Two Strings (2016)
Kubo lives a quiet, normal life in a small shoreside village until a spirit from the past turns his life upside down by re-igniting an age-old vendetta. This causes all sorts of havoc as gods and monsters chase Kubo who, in order to survive, must locate a magical suit of armor once worn by his late father, a legendary Samurai warrior.

2. Blackkklansman (2018)
Ron Stallworth, an African American police officer from Colorado Springs, CO, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of a Jewish surrogate who eventually becomes its leader. Based on actual events.
3. Booksmart (2019)
On the eve of their high school graduation, two academic superstars and best friends realize they should have worked less and played more. Determined not to fall short of their peers, the girls try to cram four years of fun into one night.
4. Don’t Think Twice (2016)
Jack & his girlfriend Samantha are a perfect couple who are also Teammates on a popular improv group that perform at a struggling comedy spot in NYC. Together, the team has a family-like bond but individually they have their personal dreams of being on the weekly television show “This Weekend Live”.
5. The Farewell (2019)

3. The Martian (2015)

4. Arrival (2016)
Aliens have landed on Earth, in 12 different locations. Language professor Louise Banks joins a US army team at one of the locations, in Montana. Her job is to try to learn the aliens’ language and enable communication with them. Through regular meetings with two of the aliens she starts to compile a record of the aliens’ “language” – a series of drawn symbols. The important question is – are they friend or foe? Other nations with alien landings are starting to view them as a threat, making it a race against time as war with the aliens could erupt at any moment.
5. Border (Grans) (2018)
Customs officer Tina is known for her extraordinary sense of smell. It’s almost as if she can sniff out the guilt on anyone hiding something. But when Vore, a suspicious-looking man, walks past her, her abilities are challenged for the first time ever. Tina can sense Vore is hiding something she can’t identify. Even worse, she feels a strange attraction to him. As Tina develops a special bond with Vore and discovers his true identity, she also realises the truth about herself. 2. The Sopranos (1999-2007)
An innovative look at the life of fictional Mafia Capo Tony Soprano, this serial is presented largely first person, but additional perspective is conveyed by the intimate conversations Tony has with his psychotherapist. We see Tony at work, at home, and in therapy. Moments of black comedy intersperse this aggressive, adult drama, with adult language, and extreme violence.
3. F.R.I.E.N.D.S (1994-2004)
Rachel Green, Ross Geller, Monica Geller, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Phoebe Buffay are six 20 something year-olds, living off of one another in the heart of New York City. Over the course of ten years, this average group of buddies goes through massive mayhem, family trouble, past and future romances, fights, laughs, tears and surprises as they learn what it really means to be a friend.
4. Game of Thrones (2011-2019)
In the mythical continent of Westeros, several powerful families fight for control of the Seven Kingdoms. 5. Stranger Things (2016- )
After the mysterious and sudden vanishing of a young boy, the people of a small town begin to uncover secrets of a government lab, portals to another world and sinister monsters. The boy’s mother desperately tries to find him, convinced he is in grave danger, while the police chief searches for answers. Trying to help find him, the boy’s friends discover a strange little girl, who is on the run from “bad men”.
