Finding True Love Through Self Love – MIND VIDEO

Author : James America

Find the love you seek, by first finding the love within yourself. Learn to rest in that place within you that is your true home.” ~  Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

There was a time when I used to think that in order for me to feel loved, happy and whole I had to be in a relationship with someone… I really believed that I couldn’t be happy and that I couldn’t feel loved on my own, and that I needed someone else to give me all the things that I thought were missing from my life. And unfortunately this is what most of us are raised to believe.

We live in a world where we are led to believe that who we are is not enough and that in order for us to become whole and complete, we need to start chasing after love and approval from those around us. And from this place of imaginary lack and incompleteness we craft our entire lives.

Seek not outside yourself, for all your pain comes simply from a futile search for what you want, insisting where it must be found.” ~ from A Course in Miracles

We are all born whole and complete. We are all born overflowing with love, love for ourselves and love for the world around us, and the more we learn to honor ourselves by embracing, accepting and loving all that we are, the easier it will be for us to experience this truth.

Self love is the best way to attract real love and in this short and beautiful video, Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love explains just that. Plus, she also shares a wonderful quote on why she married her husband that will definitely put a smile on your face.

Enjoy.

With all my love,

self love
