Some Difficult Truths
• Toxic people exist. To protect yourself, ensure you keep your distance.
• Only pleasing others will eventually break you. Self-care is vital.
• Not everyone will like you. Similarly, you won’t like everyone. That’s ok.
• Healing is not linear. This means that you will have setbacks sometimes.
• Sometimes, certain things won’t get better. Learning to cope is key to survival.
• Mental health struggles can happen to anyone, also to you. Be kind.
