BEST WAY TO HANDLE TOXIC PEOPLE IS NOT TO HANDLE THEM, go “No Contact” but if that is not possible…..

• Keep contact as limited as possible.

• Do not give them your energy or focus. make believe you are like a grey rock. bland and boring. (Grey Rock Method.)

• Do not take it personal. (They were toxic before you, they will be toxic after you.)

• Keep your boundaries and standards strong.

• Be cordial but keep conversation limited. Don’t tell them things about yourself, they may eventually use those things against you.

• Don’t tell them how you feel about anyone unless you want them to tell them, which they most likely will.

• Do not ask them for any favors. (Payback is always a bitch) They are going to want double in return.

• Don’t ask them for help or advice. Toxic people can be very controlling. Once you let them in, they are going to expect you to follow through on their advice whether you want to or not.
