You’re not where you want to be. And it’s okay. Everyone starts somewhere. This is where you are right now. It doesn’t mean you’ll be here forever. It doesn’t mean you’re stuck. It just means this is where you stand today. I know this journey feels so overwhelming. I know it feels impossibly long and difficult and painful. And I know there are days when it feels easier to give up. But the truth is that most things worth having don’t come easy. Change takes time. Getting to a better place takes time. You aren’t a failure because it’s taking you so long or because you’re struggling just to start. You aren’t weak or incapable. You’re human. This work is hard. It’s uncomfortable and mentally and physically taxing and terrifying โ and it makes sense that it would take your time. It makes sense that this is a struggle. You don’t have to solve your whole life overnight. And you don’t have to feel ashamed for being where you’re at. All you have to focus on is one small thing you can do today to get closer to where you want to be. Slowly and lightly, one step at a time. You can get there. Every effort you make adds up over time. And you’re capable of doing that work. So breathe and trust that it’s okay to be here today. Trust that something better is coming. Trust that you have what it takes to get there.
Hey! I love reading quotes on the internet because I feel they are the best way to express your feelings without saying much. When I am not poring over quotes, I love to bake and play with my adorable pit bull, Max.
There are still men who will sit and listen to you while you talk about something that bothered you. There are still men out there who will take accountability and apologize, men who can be aware of their behavior and how it affected you.
Men that you can grow with. Men that will make you feel appreciated. You don’t have to go through years with somebody who doesn’t know how to communicate and has no emotional intelligence.
We need to step out of our comfort zone to grow and learn.
Aaaaaand we need to step back into our comfort zone to rest, recover, and integrate how we’ve grown and what we’ve learned.
Don’t diss the comfort zone. It serves a purpose. Use it as a tool.

If time actually healed people, no one in the world would be hurting.
Time is simply space; what matters is how you use it. If you fill your time intentionally with self-love, letting go, and building the new habits you need, that would make a real difference.

Unawakened people tend to seek out relationships as a ‘distraction’ in order to avoid facing their own inner healing, personal growth, and spiritual awakening. Most of us are in love with the distraction, not the other person. It is time for us to reach a new level of awareness.
